Going to make a rhubarb pie for dessert tonight. Have changed my ticket to go to Devon for Friday now, as SIL's new job starts next Tuesday now 😑

When we get an appointment letter from the hospital it tells you about patient transport, which is free and you are entitled to. It is a sort of mini bus ambulance and can take a long time as it can drop people off in several locations. Worth considering Clover if you are not in a hurry. I'm sure they must have it in your area.

It is my library group meeting today. I couldn't book the room for our usual time of 9.30, so we are not there until 12.30. I printed off all my stuff last night, so am good to go, as they say!
I am having a reflexology treatment at 2.30. Then I must go the a garden centre after that, OH's cucumber plants are dying. We don't know why. I am to go for more and show them a photo of the wilting plants! OH of course will be on the golf course again Veggie pasta for me tonight, I have mushrooms to use up.
I have ordered two swimsuits from M &S, and will collect them on the way back from the garden centre. M&S have a 2 Dine in for £10 offer on, so I may get one of those for Friday night when the GC go home.

Morning all.

There might be hospital transport.I know my sister used it in her part of the world which is the other side of the country to us. We only had a taxi yesterday as parking is impossible and the bus would have entailed a very early start.We have two hospitals here.One is quite close to us but the one we had to go to yesterday is a good distance away.

Weather is great here again but according to forecast it’s going to change tomorrow so I’ve got washing on the go.
We are planning to have a walk round Clyde Gardens this morning. They are famed for their Rhodedendrons which are flowering now and we usually have a visit to see them. Then we are having lunch out and after that I’m not sure.Might walk along the seafront round Swansea Bay and into town.

I envy you folk saying you will pop here and there, my list for things I need is getting longer and longer, at least I am getting some jobs done instead of browsing the shops. Update on car is that it looks like it will be middle to late July, oh dear! I am missing my Aqua, hope to start again in Sept. I have a dental appt. next week, must cadge a lift from someone, buses don't run in that direction. I am going to make some crumbles for the freezer today but I need more foil containers, not sure what shift GD is working today.

Another sunny day here. Nothing much planned and we have Dexter this afternoon.

The M & S store in Bournemouth closed recently, seems strange not to have them in town but there is a big one at the local shopping centre. I have to admit when I went in there the other day there was nothing I really liked and I had a 20% off voucher in the post yesterday.

Clover, hearing you talk about Swansea reminded me that my gr,gr,grandparents were married in Swansea. He was a gardener at the Gnoll Estate in Neath and I was able to visit there a few years ago. Actually found the foundations of the greenhouses where he probably worked.

Good morning all. We had an early morning call this morning
It was just after 8 and we were sat in bed when OH asked me what time was the butcher arriving with our meat order when I said sometime this afternoon. The door bell went......it was the butcher and there was me still in my PJ's

I've been to the hairdresser this morning , it was cold when I left the flat but now I am home the sun is out and its a lot warmer.

We are going to the cinema tomorrow as its Silver Screen day . We will be seeing Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri..

How do I find everyone this morning

I read about M and S also I had an email from Tesco about their online Tesco Direct shop ( not to be confused with their grocery shops or online grocery shopping, there is no change with these ) . The Tesco Direct online shop is shutting down in July . Apparently it has been running at a loss which is no surprise when you look at the prices of some of its goods. DS has been looking for a new TV .sites he looked at was Amazon, Argos , Tesco Direct and Curry's. Tesco was the most expensive so its no surprise.

Evening it’s me the proverbial bad penny, I keep coming on and disappearing, hopefully fairly back to normal, DD is Okish her OH came home today 2 dys earlier from TA training in Wales so I can take a step back now.
For therapy today I have cooked well baked 2 apple and rhubarb pies and 2 crumbles one apple and one apple and blackberry, question for Nan2 or anyone I had some leftover crumble as in topping quite a bit so I froze it but not sure it will defrost ok what do you think ?.
This morning I cleaned the bedrooms,bathrooms and kitchen and as I say baked

Qwerty Crumble freezes and defrosts really well

Crumble topping doesn't really freeze, still stays crumbly so you can put it straight from the freezer onto fruit. I am freezing two of my my apple and blackberry crumbles uncooked, hope that's okay. Cooked one and took it in next door.

Qwerty, as my car was under six months old, they are replacing it with an identical one and there is a long waiting list for minis. They couldn't find one from a dealership. Hope DD has got over her frightening experience.

Today I went to an exhibition of Picasso at the Tate Modern. It was just part of his career, 1932. That man certainly had a warped view of the female form! Very interesting. We (me and 2 friends) had a great day. Now home, cooked dinner and about to operate on OH’s beard. He may not be pleased with the result.😆
