My goodness, Sum, you have had an awful time. I really hope you are over the worst of it now and make a good recovery. I so agree with you about our NHS especially A & E, worth their weight in gold.

Lovely to hear B is home again, Oma, hope all goes well for him now.

Bitterly cold here today but another huge step formP as he was determined to come with me when I went to the supermarket. He did really well, we went slowly but he enjoyed being out and about again although felt tired when we got home. He soon recovered after a cuppa and I think it did him good to feel he was getting back to normal. He had a really good lunch, so nice to see him eating well again, so a good day for us here.

Cheese savour sounds delicious, really must try it.

Sum you certainly have been dreadfully poorly, certainly hope you soon improve and feel like your old self soon 😃 Poor Mimi and Nan I shall have to put you all in a sack and give you a good shake 😁 Mrs Qwerty buying the cheese sandwich filling is cheating 😜 At least I don't have to worry about the wheel unlocky mejig, poor old Bessie doesn't have one 😁 Gem hope Mum went to her friend's this afternoon .Oma best news today about B coming home, be gentle with him 😂 I have prepared a curry for tea and a pineapple upside down pud for afters. Will speak to SIL later to see how DD got on with the neurologist and endocrinologist today, crossing everything for positive news.

Qwerty that looks like sandwich spread, or as we used to call it, sick spread! 😬
This is the original pic Nana. I found it on the Internet. I am trying really hard to look like that lady. 😆
Sum1, glad to hear the worst is over. Take care.

Forgot to put these on of the bathroom we decorated, excuse the toilet roll but we all have them 😀 I couldn’t get pics that easily as the shower cubicle is in the way just showing the wallpaper, not as big an impact as I thought it might have but it’s staying now 😏

LG and GM I didn’t know you could get different ones in the cheese savoury stakes, see what you’ve done Oma talking about said cheese thingy 🙄

Sum1 - you have been through the most awful time, but I'm so pleased to hear you are on the mend now. For goodness' sake take it easy. My OH wasn't as ill as you, and it started on 17 January. He's still not back to full strength and even a small amount of physical activity exhausts him. I know it's very tempting to try to get back to your normal life - and yours is a very busy one - but you have to listen to your body and take care. A & E sounds like a horror movie, and I don't know how the medical staff cope day in an day out. Your first cuddle with Isaac will be all the sweeter for having had to wait so long for it.

Mimi and Nana - sending love to you both. I know how horrible back pain is, and Nana I hope you can get over the lurgy quickly.

Qwerty - that looks very grand - I'd expect to have to pay a lot more than a penny to get in there! The only problem with loo rolls is when they are absent!!!

Oma - how lovely to have B home again. Don't show him the list of chores till tomorrow - let him have this evening off!

Enfys - you must be so pleased just to get out together and do a bit of shopping. Things are looking up. I'm sure you're nagging P to wrap up warm in this cold weather - it's bitter tonight.

Gem - I hope your mum enjoyed seeing her friend today! How was the screening?

Thank you for asking, ladies. I had a lovely lunch out today. I'll write about it in my Journal.

Oh Sum1, I am so sorry to hear how poorly you have been. It would drag anyone down. Time, as much rest as you can, and warmer weather to come will all help with your healing. Plus being able to see your lovely GC of course!
Nana, you must be feeling rough to cancel your GC, but you did the right thing, we know when things are just too much.
Enfys, lovely to hear P starting to do ordinary things again.
I hope there was some positive news for your DD Libra
Oma, I am of course delighted that OH is at last home. I was beginning to think he had taken up residence in there

The play was good, but rather long and not the most cheerful! It did mum lots of good to see her friend, I'm glad she went.
