Wee Granny - Oh dear, I do hope your DS makes a good recovery. He'd probably love to you to go out there and look after him, but doesn't like to put you to the trouble, or have you think he can't cope. Men, eh. Send him best wishes from all us grannies. xx

LG - I hope your DD is ok after the lumbar puncture procedure today. And, just as important, it gives the specialists some answers. I twas certainly chilly today. Obviously we can't take Eva out at the moment, and today I didn't mind one bit, although we had to miss the monthly dog walk our trainer puts on.

Mimi - how lovely that GD asked for a sleep over with you. I hope you enjoyed your lunch.

Plant - OH watched the rugby too - I watched a bit of it with him. Not a good afternoon for him though - they lost, again!!!

I've had an 'easy' day - stripped the bed and washed the bedding, dried it and put it back on. I waved the yellow polishy thing round a bit in the living room and pushed the sucky up thing round while OH moved furniture. Very proud of our dust and hair-free floors under the chairs and sofa!!! Dinner was easy, I had some cooked mince which I did with jacket potatoes, carrots, spring greens, cauliflower and broccoli. (We like our veg!)

Plant - yes it was, but actually my OH was upset because Wales lost to Ireland - quite badly.

                  S

Lunch sounds lovely Nan2, we are having roast chicken as it’s GD’s favourite. She is still in bed at the moment and being a typical teenager we don’t expect to see her until about 12ish !

Got it up and made a cup of tea and brought it back to bed. I could see by looking out of the window that it’s cold outside.

I had had a lovely meal with DIL and GD yesterday. We went to the local fitness club. It’s a huge old country house that used to be of all things the works social club of the now closed down factory where my dad used to work. I can remember having many a works family Christmas party there . Oh happy days and memories.

Apart from cooking Sunday lunch I don’t have much planned. Looking forward to tomorrow to getting my hair done, it’s driving me crazy, it needs a good tidy up,.

Hope every one is well and you all have a peaceful Sunday

Good morning, everyone. Yes, beautiful sunshine, but very, very cold, even down here in the south.

Mimi - your graphic immediately had me singing 'Good Morning Starshine..' I could still remember the words 'Nibby nabby noop, la la la lo lo, sabba sibby sabba ....etc! How sad is that!!!

Lovely Sunday lunches - it's not often we do a roast but they do sound delicious.

Nanto - fingers crossed OH comes home empty-handed.

Another quiet day for us - or at least nothing planned. I'd like to get out in the garden, but with the cold weather forecast for next week it's probably better left alone for now.

Gem - I hope you got some sleep last night - GS was late going to sleep and I don't suppose you got a lie in this morning.

Morning ladies, it's bruddy freezing here even with the sun shining. My student has gone, so stripped bed and remade. I have an Italian girl due on Friday, this weather will be a shock to get system. Hubs is on walked duty, so I will get on with a few jobs. Done veg for later, we are having pork chops today. I will post update on DD later, still getting my head around what's going to happen, have a blessed Sunday one and all 😘

Good morning, freezing here but sunny. No cold here Oma, am trying to avoid all germs.

DH still very tired when he tries to do anything, so gentle walking around nothing strenuous. I don’t think he realises just how much he’s been through what with the heart attack before Christmas and then all this in the last couple,e of months. Also tomorrow we have hospital appointment to see oncologist about the biopsy on the lymph nodes, When the nurse rang she said to discuss whether to have chemo therapy or not, but DH took the call and he can’t remember exactly what was said! Of course, I’ve been worrying myself silly about this although he is just as laid back as usual.

otherwise, just a normal Sunday here. I have chicken in the slow cooker ready to make meals for the freezer and we have chicken for dinner too. It’s quite hard to decide what to cook as there are quite a few things DH can’t have so we seem to be having lots of chicken and fish with limited veg. He doesn’t mind but I like a bit more variety.

Have a good Sunday everyone 🌞

Afternoon everyone. I hope you enjoy your roast dinners those that are partaking.

We had a very, shall we say “bracing” walk over the golf course to the castle and a look at the sea.

Came home and warmed up doing some i.....ng

I really must get on with bedroom clearing .G is such a hoarder I’m trying to sneak things out without him noticing. It’s more of a workshop/junk room than a bedroom with boxes of “stuff” all over the place including the floor.
Bless him he thinks so many things will be useful but I know full well he’ll never want any of them again or even remember he’s got them.

                                Time for coffee perhaps first.
