Baby E and his parents popped in yesterday, they were on their way to JL to finish off their wedding present list. He is so funny, he has started to roll his R's, says dad occasionally and is at the age when he is interested in everything, especially if it has buttons. He hasn't any teeth yet, seems a bit late.

Morning at last it is not raining. Actually quite mild with weak sunshine. Waiting around for Dorset reclaim to come and take away the old lounge suite, no time given so could be hanging around all day 😩 Got a few jobs to keep me occupied. Hope all the poorly peop!e are starting to feel better.

Daisy that tea scenario sounds familiar. I’ve lost count of the number of hot drinks I’ve made for G and gone back later to find them cold and him fast asleep. At least I think while he’s asleep he’s hopefully getting better. Hope your OH soon turns the corner as well.Poor Eva must be confused.

Gem I know you will be upset to say goodbye to your friends but if you don’t go I think they will miss you and you might feel sorry afterwards.

You are right , I'm sure, about it being best for me to go tonight. We have to anyway now, as they borrowed a pasting table from us for a car boot sale, and are giving it back to us tonight! I am famous for crying when our (grown up) daughter once had to go back from Spain before the rest of the family on a holiday, as she had work. I was seeing her a few days later. A wuss, as OH would say.

Plant, my mums friends GGD is turned 2 and has 4 teeth only! My GS2 is not 2 until April and has a full mouth of teeth. All are different and I'm sure your cute GGS will soon get his

Well we have a bedroom full of flatpacked wardrobe, looks a bit like the back room at IKEA you would love it Oma! They came on time having driven from Manchester, I made them tea (I don’t drink tea so I never know if it is a good cup) and gave them biscuits and off they trotted after about half an hour. Tomorrow is fitting day. One down four to go......

It is very warm here today and I out the washing machine on so I could dry it outside, well that is I thought I had out the machine on. But I hadn’t so I will do it tomorrow instead.

Have spent the morning emailing my CV out to everybody and his grandad. There was a job in Camden with a water company that sounded quite OK. It they have come back and said it is far too junior for me but will bear me in mind for anything that comes up. I suspect I am going to have to compromise rather a lot......

Back from Dental hospital , Tooth out as his bloods were really good ,
He has had to have stitches as they had to cut the roof of his mouth to get the root out but so far he's ok , mind you its still numb .

I have been clearing my top shelf of wardrobe everything is in nice boxes but I couldn’t remember what apart from photos ,fatal I spent all afternoon reminiscing, a box of wedding momentos from both kids weddings menus, invites , written speeches, dried flowers seems so long ago now and so much has happened. Box of family death certs keep them in case someone wants to chase their family tree, so dusted them and vacced the non existent cobwebs and put the lot back 🙄

Took the bed down which was easier than we thought it was going to be. The flipping flat is a tip - cannot get into the spare room, got a suitcase full of clothes for the week in the hall, single duvets, pillows and fold up beds in the sitting room along with make up drawer thingie and one bedside table half painted. The only two places in the flat which are normal are the kitchen and bathroom. Roll on Friday when the bedroom is finished and we can get back to normal. I do want another job but if I am invited for interview this week I will have nothing to wear because I cannot get to it!

Oma I am with Q on the dentist front, I would be a complete nervous wreck if I had thst at the dentist!

As long as I didn't know in advance what the dentist was going to do I would be okay but it does sound like a big job, hope it isn't too sore when the anesthetic wears off.

Gem I’m sorry you had a tough time with your Mum. It must be very demoralising for you but you’d have to go a long way to find a better daughter than you.I hope you have a nice time tonight despite having to say goodbye to your dear friends.Remember they are going to have a fabulous time and are bound to keep in touch.

G and I managed a short walk this afternoon,so we are nearly back to normal (or what passes for normal these days) Just don’t want him to do too much too soon but it was fairly mild and I hope the fresh air did him good.
