Mimi - thank you for asking, I'm fine after yesterday's soaking. I spent the rest of the day with my hair not looking its usual glamorous self (hahaha) but otherwise ok. It looks like another horrible day today, but it sounds as though you've done all the jobs, so you may just have to put up your feet and relax.

Enfys - I hope P has had a good night and is feeling better this morning. How you are?

Nanto - are you shopping for something nice?

Went to bed at 4 and got 4 whole hours sleep so I have done my housework washed all the floors polished door handles and emptied kitchen bin and recycle bin , cleaned downstairs loo and gave bathroom a good going over ,
Just a tiny bit ironing then I want to paint the spare room skirting's ready for the new carpet going down ,
That may have to wait till after lunch I'm flagging a bit now .
We Washed the sitting room carpet late last night thought it might be a bit damp still but its dry , mind you our heating came on during the night so that will have helped

Good morning all. Very dreary here at the moment but at least it’s not raining. I got soaked walking back from the bus stop yesterday.

P rang this morning, and if alll goes well he will be home tomorrow.! The rays were fine, showed no blockage but they said sometimes something gets twisted inside. He’s still a bit sore but is eating again.

Have stripped the bed, got a load of washing on but not sure if I’ll be able to hang it out. Just trying to keep busy. Have a good day everyone 🌞

Good news Enfys I do hope you get him home tomorrow , its one step forward two back at times isn't it , a worry but the main thing is he's eating and doing ok ,

Oma, I just feel that nothing that happens will surprise me...resigned I suppose is the word. Not how I want to feel but it’s one way of dealing with it all.

Enfys - I'm so pleased P is on the mend again. Everybody has different ways of dealing with worries, but it sounds as though what happened to P this week isn't unusual (as Oma said about her niece) but I think it must knock the stuffing out of you a bit. Keeping busy is good, and I think you are doing really well. Sending hugs. xx

Daisy, just the usual kind of shopping in town,nothing special.
Went to Morrisons for the supermarket shopping and had dinner there.
Morrisins must be the coldest shop in town,and their cafe is even colder.

Just st got back from hospital. P feeling much better, more like his old self so hopefully he’ll be home tomorrow. He was the only one on his ward who was able to eat anything! Going to have a restful evening with a nice glass of vino....or two 🙂
