It doesn't have to be a dress, in fact I am almost giving up that idea in favour of trousers, after all I am not mother of bride or groom just want to look smart, comfortable and look reasonable in the photos. All the family and close friends are staying overnight. the venue is called Farnham Abbey, very posh, brides father's choice.
A late hello from me,time seems to fly away and I then realise I haven't posted. Very chilly here but lovely sunshine,I went to the park with the dogs which is only down the road from us.Was having such fun with the dogs I lost track of time, until I saw Brian walking towards me,he thought as I had been gone so long something must of happened. . Had a potter in the garden, then read the paper. Thought I had better clean the bathroom, and that was it,too tired to do anymore. Hope the poorly people are on the mend .
Qwerty I'm so sorry you're having an upsetting time. I hope it helps you to know you're in our thoughts.xx
Hoping you all have a good day.
Oh I’m ok Nana nothing that a bit of Botox won’t cure , I think your worse than me lately , I’ve managed to steer clear of flu and bugs , just this blessed hrt cream lark to sort thanks for your lovely thoughts my dear
Plant - you will probably find the perfect outfit where you least expect it! I know someone who found the absolutely perfect dress for her registry office wedding in a Kaleidoscope catalogue. It was just right for her - a dress and matching little jacket - and looked like a couture outfit. So don't get disheartened - keep looking.
WG - ouch that sounds painful - I hope you're ok. xx
Libra - it was lovely today, but very cold. We took Eva to the paddock just before lunch, but after about 20 minutes I was worn out! I think Eva could have done with another couple of hours though!
I've had a fairly lazy day - just wafted one of those little yellow square round the living room, but ran out of energy as soon as I looked at the sucky up thingy, so left it! I think I need another early night! Rip van Winkle - move over!!

Good morning ladies, and Happy Saturday to you all.
What a peaceful picture Nan2!
The rain is here too.
Nothing much planned today. OH now has the bug, which started yesterday. I have recommended her at least 2 days of rest if not more. As I am still coughing it is like a hospital ward around here! I am a lot better though.
Keep well, warm and dry everyone.

Nanto - lucky you, a trip to B&Q. I hope it stops raining. We've had overnight rain, but it's stopped now. I can't go out anyway until the dog food's been delivered, so I've got a good excuse.
Gem - sorry to hear OH has got the bug, too. I hope she's soon better - and rests as recommended. I'm still coughing, but much better than I was. I'm just wondering where I can find some energy.

Daisy a day in recovering wont hurt is wet outside and the air is cold .
Been to Morrison's put a couple cards on community board , just pottering today did all my work and ironing yesterday so nothing much to do today
Enfys hope P is better today and they reconsider him coming home xxx
OH still in bed All quiet up there so I think she will have gone back to sleep. Last night, although we enjoyed the meal, and were home again not long after 9, neither of us felt too good once we got in! The cold night air really affected my chest, and OH looked really tired. We probably shouldn't have gone, but it's done now! We shall be staying inside today

Oh dear, poor S, hope you both will feel better soon.
Bit dull here, not sure what is planned for today, most Saturdays, SIL picks his mother up and we go out to lunch after he has taken her shopping. I don't think I will join them today, trying to get my weight down plus I have two meals out this week.
Daisy I had a look on Kaleidoscope couldn't see anything that would be suitable for me, David Neipier had a possible skirt and top, that way I could get the 2 different sizes top and bottom. I am hoping not to spend much more than £200. Planning to look in the two independent dress shops in the nearest small town.
Hope there is some good news from Enfys today, hope Qwerty is standing or cartwheeling by.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Morning ladies still new victims of this bug going aorund bound to happen Gem as long as it leaves me and OH alone .
Decorating yesterday took the wall lights off the wall to get the paper scraped, put the lights inside the shower cubicle so they wouldn’t break, as OH emulsioned ceiling we have a wrought iron piece over the shower door well it fell off thought it was screwed to ceiling, yes you can guess smashed the lights, and marked the shower tray 🤭 so on the hunt for new ones nothing is straightforward in this house. I made some soup Monday and froze the excess , took a bowl out yesterday took ages to defrost as I tried stirring it it splashed all over the worktop and kitchen floor that had just been cleaned, then I did it again ! Eventually warmed soup up buttered a roll sat down and knocked the soup spilling it on placemat and dropped the bread roll butter side down I gave up
Today I shall catch up on programmes I’ve recorded hopefully OH will have finished papering today and my job begins then ,cleaning up and putting 8 baskets of gear back in the large airing cupboard as we emulsioned that out yesterday. Tomorrow off to Dunelm for a blind and a look at wall lights looked online but nothing thrilling
I havnt sent any cards yet Gem a bit busy but will do it next week
Daisy you might be as well buying a tonic for that energy or lack of it
Wonder how P is today hope they are sorting it, Enfys is really missing him and a bit down
