Afternoon ladies ,
Zizi my ankles swell like puddings in the heat , I'm afraid I'm not good when its so hot ,

Nanto it belted down with rain from tea time last night till about 6 this morning and blew a gale hear ,

Have done all my shopping this morning not that we needed a great deal , got home sitting having a cup of tea and remembered I wanted Mushrooms as I want a mushroom Omelette for tea , so rather than go back to supermarket B went up to the garage and just bought a small punnet from there , For a Garage ( part of coop) they do a nice variety of mushrooms , I'm not keen on button mushrooms only use them in likes of curry but coop do lovely little chestnut ones ,
Sun came out for a couple of hours but its now turning black again so more rain for us .

Lovely and sunny here, came back from Aqua and cleaned up the leaves around my doors, GD cleared around their front and back door, the rest will have to stay.

Fred a very blustery, wet night it’s been quite nice here this morning, but still very windy. Had a lovely morning meeting my friend and lots of chat and laughs. She bought me a beautiful bunch of flowers, so kind. We’d to do some h******rk this afternoon, it’s been sadly neglected lately, but won’t take long to flick around here.

All ok here, both feeling fine so things are slowly getting back to normal. It’s a good feeling 🙂

In Bridgetown, it is very noisy here. Taxi drivers are forever pestering you to take you back to the ship, annoying. There are a lot more beggars than there used to be and they are a little bit aggressive (some of them). They have moved the bus stops so we might be wandering around for a while looking for the right one and of course the husband will know exactly where to go and I shall have to bite my tongue when I prove him wrong........

neighbour emailed me today to say that a lot of our pots in our garden have gone for a walk after the winds last night but she has put them in a sheltered spot and she checked the fencing and it all seems intact. Well done that woman I say!

Ours and next doors green garden waste bins blew over once the man had emptied them this morning . I bravely ventured out and rescued both!
All well at my sisters and my little car didn't get blown off the road, but it was buffeted about a bit!
The carpet colour is Tummell, a sort of tweedy beigy brown. I will take a pic once it is laid!

Evening ladies.
Well the oven man came and as I suspected the oven needs a new fan motor. It has to be ordered so I’m expecting a call tomorrow to arrange another appointment for when it comes in.
OH and I then went into town to get a few bits and bobs and try and find inspiration for small C gifts for the men in the family.
The wind has died down here. I felt quite nervous for the men working on my neighbour’s roof. I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to be up there,not that I would be anyway as I don’t like heights,

Well I was right, he said he knew the way and I said he didn’t. He didn’t give in so I asked a lovely young policeman who walked us to the bus station in the direction I said....... He is coming to London in the summer next year so I gave him my card and said I could give him some pointers.

my pussy cat friend came for dinner. He is a good boy. He does try it on by walking in but I give him “the stare” point to the door and say no and he goes and sits on the patio waiting for goodies. I know I shouldn’t feed someone else’s cat but he obviously knows his way around.

We are off on an island jeep tour tomorrow. I don’t really know why as we have been on so many we probably know the route as well as the drivers now but they are fun even though we will both be aching like mad tomorrow night from the bumping around which is inevitable when you are careering through the forest in the back of a jeep. I will take pictures on my phone but will not be able to post them until I get home as internet is turned off and I don’t want to take iPad.

Good morning ladies.

Zizi it sounds as if you are having a lovely time, an Island Jeep tour sounds exciting.

At last the winds have calmed down , we did the right thing and moved our olive and bay lollipop trees into a sheltered corner of the patio to protect them from the wind and frost. They are nestled next to the wall of our flat and the wall dividing our garden from next door, hopefully they will survive the winter there.

Any one partaking in the Black Friday frenzy today ? I’m certainly not going to town today as I don’t want to be caught in the panic. On the One Show last night it showed the likes of Argos and Amazon getting ready for today’s big Internet shopping. It was pointed out that the bargains are not always as it seems as generally some items can be brought before and after the big sale at a reduced price anyway. Also a new TV at a knockdown price isn’t a bargain if you don’t need it. Fair enough if you are buying for a planned upgrade or replace a broken item .

We have got grocery coming this morning, I have started buying ‘ goodies ‘ for Christmas as we usually have everyone around after Christmas for a buffet type of meal so lots of little nibbles generally go down well.
