Morning ladies.
Unbelievably it’s not raining her and the sun is popping in and out.Still freezing cold wind though. We went for the paper and then just as I was putting the washing on prior to a much anticipated coffee the Jehovah Witnesses arrived on the doorstep. I can’t bring myself to be less than pleasant to them.Though I do not necessarily see the world through their eyes I do have a sneaking admiration for them going door to door because it is what they believe in and they often face a lot of unpleasantness.
Daisy if you find the source of energy please do tell me. I’m severely lacking it at the moment.
Gem Sorry S has succumbed to the lurgy.
All this decorating going on makes me really envious. I think our whole house needs “doing” but OH doesn’t care at all.Even before his illness it was always me who initiated any repainting etc.
Hope you all all have a good day

Good morning all. Rainy here today, haven’t been outside so I don’t know if it’s cold or not. Had a nice long chat with DS this morning on FaceTime, and just heard from DGD who has left Ayers Rock and is now in Brisbane. She is having a great time down under 🙃.
Thank you Oma, for the ecard, really cheered me up 😀"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

A little bit of ironing to do, might leave it till another day. Forecast is turning very cold brrrr. A week today and I will be on my way to Devon to ser DD and family, so excited. Although I get free train travel hubs has bought me a coach ticket.I don't fancy the platform and train chanchanges on my own . Coach leaves from Poole straight to Exeter where SIL will meet me. Gem hope S feels better soon."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Its a horrible wet dank day here and I feel my ‘get up and go ‘ has left me today so after I have cooked some lunch I will settle my self down in front of the tv watching a film . OH will be in the other room watching rugby/ football/ darts etc, flickering through all the sports channels. Why do men flick from one channel to another? It drives me MAD .
How are our poorly ladies today, I think we all need a bit of warm sunshine, it would buck us up no end.
Got DS staying over night on Sunday, he will be here for Sunday lunch so I will be doing a roast chicken meal . Looking forward to seeing him
Have a wonderful day everyoneBring me sunshine in your smile.

Qwerty - I love the wall paper and bet it will look fantastic. It will be worth it - honestly! You've certainly had more than your fair share of mishaps - best stick to practising your cartwheels for Enfys' OH. xx
Plant - I didn't really expect you to see anything you liked in Kaleidoscope - it was just the point that sometimes you can find the right thing in an unexpected place. I hope your next shopping trip is successful.
LG - it ended up raining here and I really didn't feel up to trudging out in the rain, but DS2 and family plus Cooper called round so Eva had a good hour or so playing with him.
Gem - I hope both you and S are feeling better for your quiet day. x
Mimi - I can't believe I actually reminded OH about the Six Nations this afternoon. Fortunately Wales had a rather decisive win over Scotland (sorry Wee Granny and other North of the Border ladies). My get up and go has got up and gone as well! Roll on some sunshine and warm weather.
Enfys - I do hop your GD will send you updates and photos of her travels.
