Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.
I will catch up here over the next day or two, I made a start last night whilst OH was watching the football.
Tesco delivery this morning with shopping for us and mum. Work for me late afternoon (the client I had to cancel when I had the sore throat just before I went on holiday) Lots of washing to do too. Nice to come home to lovely weather so it can dry on the line. Unpacking will be done over several day I think!
Clover, I indeed feel rested and recharged. Being right by the sea every day was wonderful, in many ways.
Funerals are so sad Plant, especially for one as close as a sister. I hope you are OK, and your other sister too.
I'm glad you had a good time in London Daisy.
Oma, I hope you slept better last night.
Have a good day everyone,“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

I have to confess I did watch the football last evening, why do they keep falling over? Pleased for the England team but a report on FB last evening said that fans were running amok in Marlow, a town near us and jumping on cars, what is that all about? All this mayhem near to where brave voluntary firemen were fighting a field on fire.
Oma, I hope you had a good nights sleep for a change and no cramp.
No plans except clean bathrooms and watch some tennis. Must phone my sister to find out if she got home okay after the funeral. Baby E will be next door this afternoon, my DD's day for looking after him. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good to see you're back & enjoyed your hols Gem.
Plant I watched the England game last night & admittedly shouted at the tv for all the falling about but mainly for Colombia's aggression towards the England players. I'm not a footy fan but do like to follow England in the cup. It seems like mob rule now though. They spill out of pubs in our town centre climbing on bus shelters & blocking off streets.
I'm taking it steady today. Ooo meant to ask if you're ok Nan2? Enjoy the rest of today everyone."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Good afternoon everyone ...is it safe to come out from hiding nowI had to go into the spare room away from the England match when they were taking penalties', I couldn't bear to watch . Heaven only knows how I am going to cope on Saturday when we are in Liverpool as the plan is ( this comes from the men ) to find a pub and watch the match there !
Welcome home Gem
Wow Daisy you certainly have 'glammed up .
We went to town today to buy some shorts for OH , which he found in the second shop we looked in and he brought them without a moan about the price, colour, cut fabric etc.; To get over the shock I had to buy myself a new short sleeved linen blouse fro M and SBring me sunshine in your smile.

Hope every one slept well and you are all well.
Busy day for me today. I have a pile of washing to do as it seems that I have enough washing for all the occupants of at least half of the street, I swear the washing basket was empty yesterday. Then I really must tidy up the garden boarders give the plants a feed. Tesco delivery is also due but it’s not a very big order as we won’t be here for the weekend.
Then we have to take the cat to the cattery this afternoon and as we will be within 5mins walking distance from DS and DL ‘s we are popping in . Then it’s home to pack .
Hopefully I wiil be back here sometime today for a proper catch up
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good morning Mimi, and all who follow.
We've been out doing some early morning watering.
Sorted a vase of flowers out,one or two were dead.
Easy dinner today, hubby has asked for salad. He's welcome to it.
Need a bit of shopping, then get some jobs done before it gets too warm.
Have a good day ladies and stay cool.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good Morning my lovelies.
A lot of watering this time of year Nan2.
Libra I hope you all have a better day, and your GD enjoys her day at school.
Are you going somewhere nice Mimi?!
I have hung out another holiday washload, and fed the neighbours cat. On one of the the 3 (!) required visits yesterday she wandered out of their back garden through the fence and didn't come back. She is inside all the time they are away so we like to let her have a little time in the garden, where she normally stays. Anyway, when I was watering some of their garden, to fill in the time, she snuck back inside and was sitting looking at me calmly from the living room next time I checked.
Shopping for mum then going with her to see my sister on the agenda today. This morning I am going to make buns for DD2's party on Saturday. Those, Pimms and the birthday cake are our contribution.
