Good morning all, any thunderstorms lurking ? Its extremely hot here but no sign but we have been warned that eventually we will have a storm or two.

Really sad here as a young lad age 17 was found collapsed on the railway bridge near where my two son's live , sadly he has passed away , not sure what was the cause of his death but there has been police helicopters flying very low over the city and surrounding area for several hours now.

We have just had our Tesco delivery and I am waiting for the butcher to delivery my fresh met and then I will have a packed freezer'

Very hot here after a cool morning. Shopping with GD1 after we stopped off at hospital for me to collect some tablets. Then we decided to go fruit picking at a local farm, very hot picking raspberries and blackberries. Home now getting cool and to let the kitten out.

Nana, I wish you could join the meet in Sept. it might be my last one.

Plant,not been fruit picking for years myself.

Last year hubby picked a load of blackberries,and i freezed them.
All gone now,waiting for some more.

Wild blackberries near us are mostly dried up through lack of rain. the ones at the farm were not really ripe, the strawberries were finished, not been good this year without much rain. I will freeze the blackberries and mix them with our apples later.

Good morning all.
I hope everyone is well.

I will be busy today. It is the summer carnival for our village. Our Friends group will be having a stall selling books (of course LOL) plants and a few cakes.Someone is doing Guess The Name of the Lion, and I am doing Guess The Number of Sweets in the Jar. We need to be on the feild by 10.30 and it doesn't finish until after 4. Then GS1 will be here for the night. So I may not be saying much here today !

Good morning from sunny Charmouth. I didn’t have chance to drop in yesterday. I’ll tell you what happened in my Journal when we get home😨

Today the sky is blue, and it was already hot when I took Eva for her walk about 7.30. Today we’re going to laze around the caravan to try and keep Eva in the shade. Just finished our lovely fresh croissants from the shop and relaxing in the sun.

Ive caught up with reading posts on Chat but I forgot to put my phone on charge last night so will have to do that before I can coment on anything.

Thanks ladies, I love you all too. We had a short shower yesterday evening, felt very much fresher after it. I shall be watching a bit of tennis later.

Nanto, pleased you had a good nights sleep. My DD, SIL have just been to Pontefract, we are eating Pontefract cakes, they went to a licorice festival.
