Sister's funeral was very sad, I was okay until I looked at her pic on the front of the Order of Service, her sons did a good job. sorry we were not able to go back to the house but did have a chat with some of them. The traffic was as bad as feared, it took us 1hr 40mins to get there and not much short of 3 hours to get back, ran into all the London commuter traffic, DS almost kept his temper. My other sister, who lives near Hampton Court and is nearly 90, came in an Uber taxi, must phone her today to see what her return journey was like. Blood test for me in an hour.

Oma did you sleep better last night . Has anyone tried taking magnesium to aid sleep . Its supposed to help ease restless legs syndrome ( Oma I know that we are both sufferers of restless legs syndrome ) . I was reading about magnesium supplements at the ungodly hour at 3 am this morning.

Afternoon ladies, glad the funeral went ok Plant but sad for you all the same, the traffic will not have helped your demeanour, it’s over now as we all do we move on as best we can
Lunch with my friends was very welcome lots oh hugs, the meal wasnt brilliant Bella Italia has gone off a bit, it’s the 2nd time in 10 dys the service and food has been poor, but made up for it with cocktails. A bar I had seen on my walk up to the restaurant was advertising bogof all day so we marched in and ordered, as we sat looking round we found some shall we say cheeky poses male and female on the wall , we commented that we would have to be olympic gymnastics which made us chuckle we then realised by the clientele we were in a gay bar !!! Didn’t bother us we have many gay friends but lol our faces when we realised was a picture
A little cooler today so cleaned my light grey leather suite, it gets grubby so easily drives me mad but when it’s done it does look lovely
It’s my daughters birthday today so going over after tea but will have to be quiet as somebody says there is a football game on I doubt it 🤪
Oma there is no pain like cramp and it leaves you so sore afterwards , GM hope you get better soon too.

Must phone my other sister to see how she is today after yesterday.
Walked up to the surgery for a blood test, said hello to the ducks on the pond and stopped for a coffee in the cafe, chatted to a nice lady who I know from WI. bought a paper and milk from the shop and walked back, feeling very tired, indoors with fan on now watching the tennis.

Hello - just a quick 'hello' as I've just dropped off GD2 and now back home for a snack and then dog training!

It was wonderful to see our friends and we had lunch in the garden and a good old chat. I'll write in my Journal when I've got a few minutes about yesterday's trip to London and today.
