Morning all, GD taking me shopping later and dropping off her sister and her partner at the station, they are off to a wedding in Morocco. DD and Sil are off to Pontefract for the weekend, they are going to a liquourice festival.
Daisy, wonder what your hearing test will show.
Gem, that cat has certainly led you a merry dance, our kitten is still disappearing up tall trees.
Mimi have a lovely time in Liverpool.
I shall watch some more tennis this afternoon, yesterday was so so hot I stayed indoors with the fan on until the evening.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Morning ladies a bright and sunny morning. T very lethargic today and under pressure to get her fluids up. Latest bloods not good 2 points away from hospital admission. Another day of fun. Going to girls school fete tonight all being well. Sorry my posts are not bubbly ones at the moment.
Very hot again here, I have sorted out a load of my craft stuff, books etc to take to the charity shop so we are doing that this morning then out to lunch. We had lunch out yesterday too but DH has just said let’s go out again today so we are! We are going to make the most of his good days now that he will be back on chemo especially whilst the weather is so lovely.
Hope the hearing test goes well Daisy.....I said HOPE THE HEARING TEST GOES OK 😃.
Have a good day everyone,

Well I'm back from the hearing test! I'll write about it in the hearing test thread!!!
Gem - glad you got a bit more sleep, especially with GS2 today.
Plant - I've never heard of a liquorice festival, but I suppose Pontefract is the place to have one!!
Oma - I'm exhausted after reading your post! I hope your check up goes well.
Libra - I'm so sorry today's a bit of a downer, and hope T can get her fluids up again. We're here for the bad days as well as the good ones - sending hugs.
Enfys - lunch out seems a good idea, and will save you cooking tonight as well as lifting your spirits.

Check up went fine , a bit change in my right eye a little blood spot at the back but nothing to get concerned about , I have had them before ,
Drops they put in your eyes to open pupils so they can x ray stings like crazy and im still unable to go out in the light its too painful but again that will go soon they will close again ,
Carpet done and we have just finished moving everything back into room and hoovered , not easy in this heat we are hot & sticky now
I did Plant I always do , the sun seemed extra bright today last time I forgot them B had to lead me to the car as I couldn't open my eyes ,
My pupils are still wide open but its not so bright out a bit cloud has appeared
I have been having new carpets on the stairs and both bedrooms but had to wait for SIL to fit me in as he's very busy this time of year , they done now so im happy
Well where has today gone.
Hairdresser rang to see if she could come early,so she came at 12.30 instead of 2.
R rang,to say she had an inset day, so could she come and have fish and chips with us.
Grandad took her to the train station after, she was meeting her friends and they were going to Meadowhall.
Oma,pleased you got all the upstairs finished now.
Still very warm, even tough it keeps clouding over at times.
Mimi, you probably won't see this, but have a good time in Liverpool.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
I've just been hanging out washing and it seems hotter than ever today. Even I don't feel like doing much, but I did take pity of a couple of hydrangeas that were drooping in the heat. I gave them a watering can full each, and I'll water them properly tonight when it's cooler.
Our roundy-roundy dog training session tomorrow has been cancelled - thank goodness. It's far too hot to walk the dogs on a hard play surface - it will be scorching hot. OH wanted to do some wood turning today, but even at 9.30 this morning it was too hot in his shed (sorry workshop!).
Nanto - I bet R enjoyed her fish and chips
Oma - I should think you need a good rest now after all that hard work, plus your poor eyes in this bright light. Feet up, cold drink and being waited on.

Gem that tine is the middle of the night at our house you’ll be nodding off tonight
Libra let’s hope it’s just a bad day 😒
A busy day. As well as GS 2, plus school run I also had to go into town for the Birmingham train tickets (thanks for jogging my memory Oma!] OH drove and stayed in the car with GS while I sorted out the tickets for Qwerty, Oma and myself. We are all booked now
As we felt bad at GS being just stuck in car there and back and while I was in the station we took him to park on the way back. He is a good boy, but 2 year olds are tiring as you will all know!
My friend rang with with some bad news about her pregnant daughter (my reflexologist) so that has been on my mind all day.
My hayfever is really making me poorly and has been for a while now, add to that not a good night last night, I think I will go to bed after tea!!!!
On second thoughts, I may retire to The Granny's Rest garden with a long cold alcoholic drink

Party day for my DD2 today
Our job is to go for the cake this morning, and I will also get some helium balloons. Then go to DD's dad early afternoon, to help prepare, take our contributions, plus our pump to pump up the paddling pool. It seems that there will possibly be only myself and the 2 little boys disinterested in this afternoon's match!! GD informs me she watches England matches. That will be me and GS's of 5 and 2 in the garden alone then Actually I'm not sure DD1 and SIL1 will be interested, to be fair.
Enjoy your Saturday everyone, and the match those who are into that sort of thing
