I managed to get hubbys present sorted.
The piece of Moorcroft i have chosen,wouldn't be my choice.
I prefer the lighter colours, but as it's his present i wanted to get something in the colours i know he likes.
This is the one i've ordered, and she is sending it tomorrow, so will have it in plenty of time.

Had a lovely day yesterday, baby E was here entertaining us all, his parents are looking at houses, planning to move. He has a few words now but still not walking.

Just boarded coach for Devon , very overcast but humid. Did have spare time so popped into the dolphin centre and came out with a summer dress in the Beales sale 😊Fingers crossed the last time I make this journey Should arrive about 7pm. Speak soon. 😙

They did forecast a shower for us today.But nothing yet.

Clover's shower might possibly get as far as us, according to our local forecast, but there's no sign of it yet! It's very heavy and humid, but no sun now.

Clover, I love the idea of your lawn looking like Shredded Wheat - just add milk! I bet you're looking forward to your break.

Plant, little E will be walking before you know it, then running, then hiding, then creeping up behind you, etc.

Nanto - the piece of Moorcroft is stunning. I love those vibrant colours - and very difficult to make I believe.

I haven't done Eva's packing yet - if I do it too soon she will think she's going for walkies, and it's far too hot.

OH is still blasting dirt and weeds off the patio. I'm hoping he will also wash the splashes off the doors and windows as well.

Daisy, how exciting that you met Susie Cooper! I really like her work, especially the early stuff and I have a few pieces attributed to her when she worked at Grays alhough we can’t be 100% sure they certainly look like her early work.

Still very warm here but there is a nice breeze, we are keeping our fingers crossed for the rain to come to us. Didn’t sleep well last night it was so hot so I did lots of jobs this morning and am now resting on the bed whilst DH watches the football. He’s not as good today as he was yesterday so resting is all he can do. I’m sure the heat has a lot to do with it as well as the chemo. Keeping us topped up with cool drinks help.

Had a lovely chat with DS and DGD this morning, she has finished her travels to Tahiti and is back with them in Adelaide. They were shivering and had just lit the fire and she had a hot water bottle in bed! She is going to do some fruit picking with some friends for the next couple of. Inths to earn some funds for the next part of her holiday.

Thinking about my sister's family, the funeral isn't until 3.00, my DS is taking me, nasty journey, I am not looking forward to it.

I found the weather very oppressive yesterday, spent most of it indoors with the fan on.
