      Good morning everyone.

Mimi - I'd look online, too. I find it very hard to find jackets to fit.

Gem - how lovely that GD enjoyed her show so much. Enjoy your evening out.

OH and friend have gone down to the allotment to plant tatties, and I'm getting stuff ready to go away on Wednesday, but I've got a dog training walk at lunch-time and after that we're going shopping, so I need to get my skates on!

      Have a good day, everyone.

        Good moaning each.
We are now in Suffolk. Nice cottage but a few unexpected problems. OH has just emerged from the shower room saying he has been so long because he has had to refit the shower doors. 😳
I have cleaned the dishwasher but I am drawing the line at the oven. 😬
        Have a lovely weekend all.

GM - It sounds as though the cottage needed some TLC from one of our bleach babes before you got there. Have a lovely time anyway.

Oma - sorry I didn't see your post, I answered the phone while I was typing mine so didn't see it until now. I'm glad the flood wasn't any worse, but what a nuisance.

Mimi, I have just ordered on line a short, single breasted jacket from M&S in white, they had other colours, it was £69.

              Hello again

Have a lovely time in Suffolk Grauntie, you little gad-abouts
Not a good start to the day for you Oma!

We had a change of plan for the day. OH decided that as it is Saturday and the coast roads will be crowded, and we have to be back in time to go out early tonight (taxi at 6) she would prefer a relaxing day. We had bacon sandwiches for breakfast in the garden, and I went out and bought a few bits for a nice lunch when she is ready for it. She wanted to potter in the garden and greenhouse too, which makes her happy
DD1 and GS will be calling in too with OH's present. They were going to leave it in the shed, but now we will see them.
I have a birthday cake for OH, so they may fall lucky in having some of that too

She's ready for lunch, so off I go to prepare it

Gem, pleased you last nights show went well.

Hubby couldn't get what he wanted at the garden centre.

I hope that you're all enjoying your day. Graunty we go on self catering hols in the UK & have never had your problems. Personally I would ask for compensation from the company.

I've made two lemon drizzle cakes today for a little family gathering tomorrow at my brother's. There was a lot of mixture so it took longer to cook than the recipe said so the edges are a little 'over brown'. As long as they taste ok, that's all that matters. OH is gardening & I daren't watch. Up to now there are two shrubs I trimmed down last year , daffodil & hyacinth bulbs all going in the bin. He said he was weeding!

Well a bit of a afternoon hear

DD was taking Storm for a walk got out front door and he spotted GS1 coming into the Cul-de-sac and decided to run to him not telling DD first so he set off running taking DD off her feet and landing her on the gravel on the road '
She's all cuts and bruises , had to have gravel picked out of her elbow and palm and her thumb may be broke , Her hip is hurting too ,
As she's only 4'11" and just 7 st he's a lot stronger than she is ,
First time he's ever done that and SIL is blaming his new chest/body harness, he thinks if he had still had his collar and head haulty on he wouldn't have been able to do that ,

She's ok sore and will feel it tomorrow , it could have been worse , so getting very spoilt at the minute being pampered ,
Storm is totally unaware what he did and flat out on the floor with a full tummy

Oooo Oma, hope DD is ok. As you say,she will probably feel it tomorrow.
Trust Storm to be oblivious to it all.

Oh dear your poor DD Oma. It must have been a shock for her. I can imagine he's a very strong dog now, but he's stunning. Hope she's not too sore tomorrow.

Querty....So pleased that you are having a good time. So sorry to hear that you fell though. Ouch that must have hurt your face. I hope that you're not too stiff tomorrow. Was J ok? Hope that you'll continue to enjoy the rest of your break. Hotel looks great, by the way.x

Oma - I hope DD is ok. Did she have the lead wrapped round her hand? Our trainer always says not to do that - let the dog go, but I'd rather hand on!! In difficult situations we use a harness and a halti with the lead attached to both of them. More relaxed, and we use a harness with a D-ring on the back and another on the chest which makes it much easier to control her.

Qwerty - thanks goodness J wasn't hurt. I do hope you are ok - you need a relaxing massage in that luxurious spa to stop any possible aches and pains.

Oma, that sounds like a nasty fall your DD had, she is no match for that huge bundle of gorgeousness.
