    Good evening all
I have just read through catching up on todays chatbox!
We had a really good day at Diggerland (there are a few Zizi, ours is in Yorkshire, about 40 minutes from where I live)
DD2, SIL, birthday boy GS2, GD, OH and me, and SIL's parents. All had fun. OH, the 2 men and GD rode loads of things!
After a long day, we all went back to DD2's and we got fish and chips, then had some birthday cake. A lovely day was had by all

Gem, that's just how a birthday should be celebrated - lots of fun, fish and chips and cake!

I hope the birthday boy enjoyed it too.

Feels a bit milder this morning, and the birds are up singing away.
          Going shopping in Wakefield today.

Gem, sounds like you all had a lovely day at Diggerland.

Have a good day one and all.

Good moaning each. Daisy the boys were cheap. £1 each which is fine if you’re not precious about your plants.😂 I had deliberately left the dried stems of lots of perennials so I would remember where I had planted them. (new garden) Now it’s guesswork.
Gem, what a brilliant day. I would have enjoyed that.
It’s raining here but not hard so more gardening later. Plenty of housewifely duties await. Just one more cup of tea though.....

                Good morning ladies.

It's Plant's Grandson's Big Day today - and his Bride's, of course. It's dull and threatening rain here at the moment, but last night's forecast said it should be better this afternoon, so I do hope the sun shines on them, and everyone enjoys this special day.

Oma - please could you send them some of your sun, just in case!

It's also Gem's GS2's party day. I hope he isn't too busy driving his new green tractor to blow out some more candles, and not forgetting Nana's birthday as well. It could be a busy day of celebrations here on GransRus.

Safe journey home, Libra - I bet you will get a great welcome from your fur babies - and B of course. xx

Nanto - are you shopping for anything special?

Grauntie - I'm with you today - housewifely duties, but another cuppa sounds a better idea!

                  Good morning everyone.

Happy Wedding Day to Plants GS
                  Safe journey home Libra.
Enjoy your housework, gardening, or whatever else you may be doing today everyone!

Another busy one for me. A couple of things to do this morning, then I will drop mum's audio library books off to her. She isn't coming to GS's party, which is no surprise. This afternoon is the birthday party for GS2. Family, plus DD2's 2 best friends and their children (girls of 10 and 8, and 10 month old twin girls, Apart from his cousin, birthday boy will be the only boy )

Up early (well for me!) again. Fitter banging round the kitchen!

No idea what I'm up to today. I have a library book to go back and then I may go and put some of those sticky band things round the fruit trees as the others have lost their stickiness.Or, I have bought a new hissy thing, so I really should try that out today. No excuse not to, as I bought some deionised water yesterday for it. Water is unbelievably hard in this area. I do miss the soft Scottish water!

It's grey here, but no rain....yet!

Oma......the chip shop is almost opposite our house, so no excuse for us not knowing it was shut....you can usually smell it!

Slow cooker chicken casserole tonight for dinner. Tomorrow, slow cooker beef.

Enjoy whatever you're doing today ladies especially those celebrating!

WeeGranny - it sounds as though it won't be long before your new kitchen is all ready for action! Does deionised water help with the hissy thing? We had soft water in Surrey and it was wonderful - once I'd got used to not needing half a bottle of shampoo on my hair! - but otherwise I always seem to have lived in hard water areas. I can imagine how you miss your Scottish water. Isn't it supposed to be the best for your whisky (if you feel the need to dilute it!)

Gem - what a pity your mum isn't going to GS2's party.
