[QUOTE=Daisy;n100760]Oma - I hope DD is ok. Did she have the lead wrapped round her hand? Our trainer always says not to do that - let the dog go, but I'd rather hand on!! In difficult situations we use a harness and a halti with the lead attached to both of them. More relaxed, and we use a harness with a D-ring on the back and another on the chest which makes it much easier to control her.
Daisy she has a extendable lead attached to the D ring but she had it locked on a short lead , if it hadn't been locked it would just have stretched till she pulled him in, she does the same with collar and halti attaches both to lead '
SIL doesn't like the Harness he thinks as has been proven Storm doesn't realise he has a lead on and thinks he's free to run .
He will be doing the walking for a few days till she feels able to do it again , I told her you don't bounce as well at 45 almost as you did at 20
