Enfys, Brians treatment wasn't a cure just keeping it at bay , That's why he had the transplant as it wasn't working but look at him now , not totally cured but getting there

There is a lot to take in and all the info can be daunting and scary , they also have to give you all the worst scenario;s to prepare you just in case you do get any of the side effects m
Fingers crossed he sails through it , try to get some sleep things are better faced when your less tired xxx

Enfys - it's so stressful for both of you, and it's definitely not pleasant hearing about all the possible side effects. But at least you will be prepared if P does get any side effects. I hope you sleep ok and things look a bit better in the morning.

It sounds as though you have got confidence in the Consultant and that helps a lot.

      Sending hugs. xxx

Enfys it is scary once you realise secondary cancer cannot be cured. It takes some adjusting to. Treatments are so much better nowadays, and new treatments are being discovered. Shrinking, controling and preventing spread are no small things. We are here for you on this journey . I hope you feel better in the morning xxx

Enfys I hope that you both get a good night's sleep. I'm sure that Oma & Gem will be the greatest comfort to you throughout this nightmare of a time. I for one will be thinking of you all this week.

Libra I'm pleased Your DD is getting the help she needs at last & that T is back on form. Sorry to hear you're full of cold Gem. How miserable. Clover I bet you will be so proud of your GD. How old is she? Oma I've commented on your clever GS on FB. They did well.

How is it that OH can go out golfing all day, come bouncing in then end up in a heap this evening with man flu?😷🤒

Lovely sunny morning. Just put a load of washing in.

Gem, hope you are feeling better.

Enfys, understandable that they tell you about side effects, then you are prepared.
              Hope everything goes smoothly.

Nana, hope OH feels better soon.

                Good morning.

Enfys I know you must be feeling shell-shocked at the moment.I hope you did get a good sleep and gradually feel better.

I hope today finds anyone else feeling poorly that bit better.

Nana,my GD is 16.She has one more GCSE this week and then that’s it. Obviously with revision and rehearsals she’s been very busy and I did wonder if it was wise to take on the show but then realised it is a relaxation for her between the stresses of exams so all good.

It’s very damp and misty here today.I hope it’s doing the garden some good.

Clover, good luck for GD last GCSE.

Off to change the bedding and get it in the washer.
Trying to get cleaned all through the house, want to do some gardening tomorrow, if weather allows.
                  Onwards and upwards.

                      Good morning everyone.

How are you today Enfys? Upwards and onwards with OH's treatment, and talk to us whenever you like.
Good luck to your GD Clover.
You are a busy bee Nan2.
                      Oh not Man Flu Nana!!!

My throat which was very sore all evening, is a lot better this morning and my ears are improving. I have noticed that I have to keep turning the TV volume up this week! apart from sneezing a few times, it hasn't felt very much like a cold, more just the throat, ears, and aches. I certainly feel better today then yesterday.

Off to have my toe nails done this morning. I will take off my lovely silver patterened Minxes before I go and have gels done for my holiday and the rest of summer.
GS1 from school this afternoon, not sure if it is here or there afterwards. I'm hoping it is here.
We were just looking at the forecast for our stay in Majorca. It will be hot. Unlike poor OH's cold Portugal stay!

                      Have a good day everyone.
