Well, mum enjoyed her lunch and did sit in the garden in the afternoon(on my best sunlounger) in the shade. In fact we thought she was never going home!! She stayed until about 6.30 and seemed reluctant to go even then!
We had said we would go to our friend's early evening, to see her parents who are visiting. I drove mum home, came back and OH and I went straight round to our friends. We were plied with homemade cake and biscuits, and chocolates, so have eaten a lot today!!

I hope Daisy is safely home.
We may have to wait for Avo's baby news, although I expect she will post on FB!

Well that was the longest Royal Wedding. I've caught GD's sickness & d bug. I kept pausing the tv whilst I dashed to the loo. All I can say it was like a scene from the Exorcist.😱

I think my favourite bit was when Megan made her entry into the Church with the bright sunlight on her ...quite ethereal.

Good keeping up with all your news.

                Good morning everyone.

Poor DD Qwerty, I wonder why she passed out? I hope she is OK now and the teeth too.
Oh dear Nana As Oma says, with a bug going round the family like that you were bound to get it. Feel better soon!
We have salmon and broccoli fishcakes sometimes Nan2 and really like them.

                Another sunny day

I have my regular client to go to at 4.30, and a few other things to do today including cutting the lawn. I will have time to relax in the garden too

OH has golf with a dinner, so it's salmon with cream cheese and chives, new potatoes and veg for my dinner, one of my favourite meals. OH not as keen , so it's one I often have if she eats out.

Have a good day, whatever you do.

Qwerty, So sorry to hear about DD’s faint..Poor girl ,I hope she can get fixed up soon.
Nana I hope you are beginning to feel a bit better.
Got to go to do my cleaning job today as tomorrow we have to go to the hospital for OH’s appointment I’m going to book a taxi as car parking there is an impossibility and getting the bus would mean leaving at 7.30 a.m
This afternoon I’m going to put a second coat of paint on the bird feeder roof. How exciting.
Must pop off now to water the pots in the front before the sun gets round on them.
                  Have a good day all.

                    Good moaning each!
It seems like Emergency Ward 10 here this Morning!Poor you, Nana, I hope you are feeling better today. Qwerty I hope DD is ok. What an awful thing to happen. There is nothing worse than a phone call in the wee small hours. I hope her face is ok.
No paving men here today, but at least the boss let us know early. I have a date with the ironing board and then a bit more weeding before a jolly afternoon playing cards.
Gem, enjoy your salmon! I usually have stuffed peppers when OH is out for dinner. He can’t abide them.
                    Have a good day all.

                      Good morning everyone.

Yes, Gem, many thanks, I am safely home. I'll tell you all about it (not exciting!) in my Journal when I get a couple of minutes to myself.

I also need some time to catch up with everyone, although I have just caught sight of Qwerty's post about her poor DD. Thank goodness she was able to contact you. I do hope she's ok. Sometimes teeth can reposition themselves so fingers crossed that's how it is for your DD. Sending you a big hug - it must have been a awful shock to you as well as her. xx

Our visitors arrived yesterday teatime, and we chatted late into the evening! This morning after breakfast I need to get a few chores done - some washing mainly, then go and get a birthday present for a friend - her birthday was while we were away, but we're going to hers for dinner tonight, so I want to take the pressie with me! I wish I knew what to get her. Then pick GD2 up from playgroup, Cooper from the shop and take them back to their house until mum and dad get home. Quick dash back to ours, change and out to friend's for dinner.

It seems a long time already since we were on holiday - yesterday!!!

Love to everyone, I look forward to reading what you've all been doing.

Morning ladies, sorry to hear about your DD Qwerty, do hope apart from the teeth it's nothing to serious. Poor you Nana hope you feel better soon, these bugs are horrid, hope no one else goes down with it. Welcome home Daisy, do hope you had a good time and Eva was on her best behaviour for you. 😀. Another nice day sun is shining, got a wash on, off out with the two reprobate in a while. Walks are much more enjoyable without mud to cope with. Should hear about our offer on the bungalow today, but won't hold my breath. DD is being quite difficult for her DH at the moment, not drinking her required 2 litres, finding fault with everything he says or does. Such a worry, poor C he has tried so hard. Thought when she got home she would start getting more proactive, but still in hospital mode expecting everything to be done for her. SIL speaking with OT and Consultant today to how best to motivate her. Will it ever end. 😥😥
