It's a lot brighter this morning.

Well done Daisy for getting all your appointments booked.

Brother in law had the same problem as your OH last year.
He wasn't alloed to drive for about 6 weeks, so was off work.
His job is as a driver.
He had injections in his eye every 3 weeks, for quite a while, but all is OK now.
I'm not saying your hubby will have the same treatment, i suppose every patient is different.

Gem, that was handy, getting a good parking spot.
    Pleased you enjoyed your meal.
Won't be long now until OH is home.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

It's drizzly here at the moment, fingers crossed it brightens later. More sorting for me after I have walked the dogs, got all my kitchen cupboards sorted yesterday. Box for chariry, some to dump. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone! It's dull here, but Libra's drizzle hasn't reached us (yet!).

Libra - sorting the kitchen out is a big job - well done. Will you have more or less space in your new home?

Nanto - OH is ok to drive, the optician said. He should get the hospital appointment in about 2 weeks, and we're hoping it will be laser treatment. The optician said it was nothing to worry about, so hopefully he's right.

Gem - it makes my day when I get a parking spot in a difficult place - I usually just see someone else driving into the last available place!!! Glad you had a good evening with your friends. Not long now till OH is home.

An exciting morning ahead of me - portioning up dog food for next week and a load of work with the hot hissy thing. After that I shall probably need to lie down in a darkened room to recover!

        Have a good day everyone.

          Moaning all!
It’s so nice to read all about everyone galloping here, there and everywhere (with the exception of Gem who books out a whole cinema and munches popcorn and sips pimms. 😆Best idea I’ve heard for ages) you all seem so efficient.
Went shopping and Oma is correct, came home with nowt, tried on all the possibles and the perfect dress was there, lurking in my wardrobe, having been there for at least 8 years! The moral of this story is never throw anything away!
Out to lunch with the ladies today, I would be looking forward to it but I am still so tired even after 2 early nights. 🙄
Have a good, busy day all.

Morning all, just a quick ‘Hello ‘ as we are visiting OH’s sister today who had a knee replacement last week .

My word Dasiy you certainly got your appointments sorted .

Clover did you enjoy the Mumbles , I’ve never been there

Plant where we live we are surrounded by farms but the school children near us nowadays never seem to visit them , shame I think .

Hopefully I will pop by later and see what you are all up to
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Grauntie - What a shame about your unproductive shopping trip. Perhaps the other moral of the story is check out your own wardrobe first and save yourself a lot of frustration. I hate it when I take 10 items into a changing room and come out with none!!! I feel like a total failure!!!

I hope you feel a bit better - another cup of coffee perhaps? - and enjoy your lunch with the ladies. I sometimes find I don't feel much like going out but when I get there it's great.

Mimi - I'm sure your OH's sister will be delighted to have some entertaining company.

Quite dull here, taking GS3 out to lunch, it is his 19th birthday, family and girl friend working, can't have him spending the day on his own. I hope he will take me to a garden centre too. No date for my sister's funeral yet, they are a very large family I suppose they are trying to fit in with everyone. Oh the sun is out now.

I hope you will find your sister well Mimi.

Definitely smaller Daisy but we will redesign to maximize the space. The whole bungalow is immaculate, just stuck in the 1980's.

I think your sun has come to us Qwerty, it's lovely now!

Happy Birthday to your DD Oma

I knocked a bottle of beer off the worktop when I was putting the Tesco shopping away. Beer and glass everywhere. The only good thing was the steamer was in the kitchen ready to steam the floors after I had put the shopping away!
I am stressing a bit about men coming to see and maybe buy things we are selling on Gumtree. It's typical no interest for ages, and once OH is away there is. I have to deal with it. The strimmer I can cope with, but the trailer no. I would have to get someone to come and moves OH's car from the front of the garage doors Hers is manual and I am not licenced to drive one, plus I don't trust myself with bigger and newer car! I have said he can come to see it tonight if he likes but we wont be able to get it out of the garage and he wont be able to take it away if he wants it, until OH is back. I'm hoping he will wait. It's her trailer not mine!! I realise this is a silly thing to stress about and OH would not understand at all, but these are the sort of things which worry me!!
We do want rid of it as we have no towbar now and it takes up so much of the garage, but I don't want to be responsible for it
The other man is coming for the strimmer during the day tomorrow.

Hope the men are understand and wait for the things Gem.

Very dismal here this morning so I’ve had a cleaning morning. DH in the garden cutting down some shrubs, the young man that came yesterday about cutting the hedges was very pleasant and professional and they will do the job in a few weeks time. We want to wait until allmthe nesting birds have gone from the hedges so beginning of August is good, Very reasonable rates too. Pleased to have that all sorted out,

Just th bathroom to finish then I’m putting my feet up ,

I only had a Automatic licence too ,
I don't like being responsible for his stuff if he's selling it .
