I did tell mum and she was OK with it, sort of LOL. She doesn't like change even when it is a change she wants and has asked us for!
When OH and I have time to go over together we will fix it up , and hopefully it will be a success!
Very muddy Oma I will dig out my oldest trainers and take other shoes to change into afterwards!

      Good morning all.

Libra you did make me chuckle, would you like me to sit behind you next time you are on the bus and I could gently wake you up when your stop is coming up

How is everyone this morning ,all well I hope.

The visit to the vet yesterday went well . she was deemed in very good condition for a cat of her age . The only problem she seems to have is memory, she sometimes forgets how to come in through the cat flap . She tries to pull it open instead of pushing it open with her head .poor love

Have a good day today, OH has just come in so I am going to put the kettle on
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Hi ladies sorry another quick post, I feel like I'm on a roundabout 😵 with blessed laundry. Wash, dry iron repeat. Not going to the hospital today, catching up at home and trying to get 10 minutes to myself if possible. The girls requested Grannys rice pudding, so that's cooking in the oven. Towels are blowing on the line with me keeping my beady on the threatening rain clouds. I will catch up on post posts later, I was in bed by 9.30 last night and slept soundly until 6.45. Will put latest news on Yeo.

Which reminds me of over the weekend when texting DD2 I knocked a full glass of cold water over myself, soaking the sofa and my trousers, but fortunately not the phone. The text sent when I was reacting to the spill, so DD got a strange text which abruptly ended. 10 minutes later I texted her to explain
Sorry, Gem - my internet connection flickered and then went down - so I've no idea what happened to the rest of the post. I'm not losing it, I promise!!! I was having a really frustrating time last night, and I'm so fed up with our b****y connection. We've now found out that some authority or other wasn't asked for permission to upgrade our road's cabinet on the right bit of paper, so the whole process has to start again. It's taken about 4 years so far and I've no confidence it will go better the second time! I do know there are much worse problems people have to deal with, but it's the endless stupid bureaucracy that is driving us all mad. Heaven help the people in our road who work from home. Rant over ....!

At the moment, the internet seems as good as it ever is here, and I've just checked - Ping 491 ms, Download 3.56 Mb/s and Upload 0.68 Mb/s (that last figure isn't a typo!) If anyone is interested in checking theirs, here's the link:

Daisy, just check my broadband speeds and they are : Ping 818, Download 25.69 and Upload 3.38. Don't know what they mean, but they seem better than yours!

                    Well done to Josh Oma!
Daisy, I wondered if your broadband was to blame for last night's disappearence!
GS1 did well at Mini Mudder. I have made a thread about it, with a photo.
OH is watching a football match so I am going upstairs to watch something new on BBC1 which I overheard people talking about on the playing field

Found some nice single duvet covers at Dunelm so next time I change the bedding I will give it a try. Thanks for that Oma, makes me feel more confident it will work. We had single duvets when we were abroad, especially Germany. I think the duvets are a bit lightweight for the winter so my DD might like them when she takes the beds, I wish they would get a move on. I offered them to GS at the weekend and she said she definitely wants them. It is a bedroom with GGS's cot in it so it is a bit crowded but having these beds with one rolling under the other will take up less room, they are virtually new and very good quality.

Weather been a bit mixed today, I haven't looked at the forecast to see if they are still forecasting snow

Hope the television will be approved by your mother Gemi
