Long day for us today , Have to be at Hospital for Blood tests and I hope scan results at 12.30 then across the city to the Dental Hospital for 3.45 ,
No point trying to come home in between as its a 40 min drive and with major Bridge road works going on all traffic is diverted ,
we will come out to greet rush hour traffic on way home so lord knows what time we will get back ,

Oma, do you think your Dil is behind your son not turning up, perhaps she insisted he went shopping with her and he doesn't like to tell you. No excuse for him really but more afraid of she who should be obeyed than you and B. Have you told him how much it upsets you and his father when he just doesn't turn up or let you know especially when B is poorly.
I haven't seen my son since Boxing Day but I know I could pop in if I wanted to and Dil is very good at keeping in touch. Lovely baby, I think she looks like you.

Morning sunny again but really cold . off out later. Chatting to Oma last night and was saying if DD's health problems weren't serious it would be hilarious. She comes out with random weird things. Got to laugh or I would most certainly cry. 😩😩

I know she has a lot to do with it but as I say hes a grown man , its anything for a quiet home life ,

Oma hope you get some news today, a long day for you both , Oma I know how difficult it is sometimes our kids have a lot to answer for, I still make sure I treat the kids with respect but it isn’t slways reciprocated but like you my DD is completely different

I can’t believe where the day has gone, it’s been all go since I got up . What with doing the washing, tidying up, cooking lunch , dashing to the shop and then helping OH put a small, but very long green wire fence right up close the to bottom of the privet hedge in the hope to stop cats from getting on to the front garden through the gaps in the hedge I haven’t stopped and now just look at the time !

Still no results , they are there just not been looked at by Radiologist , they have taken them out of the ordinary pile and put them in urgent pile , said will ring when get results but we wont hold our breath,
What with the flu and infection in his tooth his immune is almost Zero , so more jabs and back again tomorrow for a 6 hour transfusion ,

From there we went straight to Dental Hospital , his appointment wasn't till 3.45 but they had a 3pm cancelation so we got in early , Repacked it and said wont do anything else till his immune system is up and running again ,
Such lovely people who puts him at ease so he doesn't mind going

Wednesday we have to go see his Hep Consultant ,Its a full week this week , said to Gem I'm sick of Hospitals to be honest

One good thing though I managed to put some GRU cards in both Hospitals and in the Hospital Library

Mum didn't come with me (I had a feeling she wouldn't) her ears seem worse since she had them syringed on Thursday, and she doesn't get on with her hearing aids, so didn't want to go. I went, and all was fine. On the way back got mum the childs portion of fish and chips which she normally has after we visit my sister, and stayed with mum a bit when I dropped them off.

Oma, they don't seem to want to let you have these flippin' results. At least the dentists were nice.

Forgot to say that I was bowling in the Village Hall today and checked the notice board, the card had gone, I wonder if someone took it as they were interested so I am there again this evening for Embroidery meeting and I think I am going to pin 2/3 there and see what happens. Going to take some to the village where I have my hearing test this week.

Gem I Gem I don’t think I have the same lurgy as everyone else although I do have sore throat but that’s is quite normal for me. What I do have is big red patches over my arms, chest and shoulders which are itchy and annoying. My skin has gone very dry in the last couple of weeks and I have started using a Vaseline cocoa butter gel, I am wondering if it is that. I haven’t changed my detergent or body wash and if I had it wouldn’t just be on my shoulders, arms and chest affected. I look a bit like Father Christmas I am so red. I haven’t put anything on it today but I do have some e45 which I might put on. I don’t have any calamine lotion as I gave it to downstairs neighbour when her grandson had a rash.

Today I have done some research for the interview tomorrow, applied for two more jobs one of them was an on line applications and it took two hours! You had to use their CV and covering letter template and it got to the stage that I very nearly gave up. I also made cupcakes (24 of), a salad for husbands lunch tomorrow and did some of the horrible stuff beginning with H. WednesdY is the day of Joes harlequin trials and the other two ar coming to me (hence the cakes which I will have to decorate tomorrow afternoon).

I have a job centre appointment on Thursday which I am really not looking forward to. I cannot remember if I told you the rules re government redundancy say that if you are applying for lack of notice redundancy which is 12 weeks for me and they will deduct the amount you receive in job seekers allowance even if you are not eligible for it (I think it is around seventy quid a week) but if you sign on they will not deduct it if you don’t receive it if you see what I mean. Frankly, and I don’t want to be disrespectful to anyone, I don’t think I need the help of the job centre staff with CV advice and job searches as I have probably got more experience in that field than most of them! Also I don’t really like the idea of having to traipse all the way to the job centre once a week which I think is one of the requirements. Still it has to be done otherwise the government are going to get a big slice of money from my redundancy pay. We when I went on the eligibility site last week it said I would get nothing so it will be a big fat waste of time for both me and the JC staff.

Oh forgot to say that the interview tomorrow is just off a really nice well stocked high street - good job I have no money coming in or it could be dangerous - Zizi + shops = loadsa money out of the bank account.
