Reflexology for me this afternoon. I checked with my reflexologist last night to give her the chance to postpone until she feels better (she's pregnant and has been feeling quite sick) but she says she is OK to work.
Then OH and I are going to see GD's Easter school play at 5pm.

Wet and dull here atm, didn't get anything indoor done yesterday, had a day out mooching shopping locally. I must go down to PC world later, I need some advice about my Ipad, I am trying to download another audible book having cleared the library it tells me my device is full and cannot download the book. I pay for a support package so I hope they can help.

Well saw Nurse yesterday good news and bad,
Good news my Colesterol , BP and Kidneys spot on
Bad news is my sugar hasn't moved one bit ,
She spoke to the Diabetic clinic at the Hospital they said by looking at my results one of the tablets I have been taking for 8 years has stopped working ,
Apparently they know it stops after so many years , upshot is they have put me on a new drug
I have to drink 1,1/2 litres a day as it makes the sugar come out in my pee and a side affect is Thrush or urinary tract infection ,
back again in June .

Good morning everyone. It's raining here! The weather forecast said it would be 'persistent' - I can think of other words!!! Our back garden is under water again, and so is our allotment.

Oma - J looks so grown up - I bet he wears his Sunderland shirt with pride. I do hope your blood sugar improves with this new medication, but it's good news everything else is ok.

Enfys- I hope you enjoy your new TG craft group. I'd love to see what you are making.

Wee Granny and Gem - thank you for checking your speeds too. Yes, they are both better than mine for download and upload. Ping is the time in milliseconds it takes to access the 'system' when you start up your computer. Mine is actually quite good, although I don't know why. I must ask someone who knows about these things!

Plant - single duvets are so much easier. We're thinking of getting roll-under beds for the children to give me more room in my study. The two singles take up a lot of floor space. I hope PC World can sort out your iPad problem.

Gem - I think you need your reflexology session this afternoon with all the running round you've been doing for mum and GCs.

Good morning . I've only just surfaced , woke up at 7ish with the migraine from hell but thankfully I seem to have nipped it in the bud !

Gem reflexology sounds wonderful, what will you do when your reflexologist is on maternity leave , if in fact she will be returning to work ?

Oma its not surprising about your one pill stopped working, my one friend has to jiggle her medication around every now and again.

Afternoon ladies I will return lol just got cleaned up from the kids sticky fingers everywhere, toys to move ironing to do ,we had eldest at the weekend and we have a high gloss coffee table in the tv lounge sounds like a b****y hotel doesn’t it but anyway big greasy fingers to clean I left them to be honest for the next lot so got that done.
A hard day yesterday so we are out today going to see Finding your Feet and a pizza out so must dash

Mimi, my reflexologist is the DD of one of my friends and has her own business now. She will hope to continue the reflexology and Indian Head Massage for as long as she can, and return to it. Massage is a lot more physical, so she will be away from that longer.

The weather perked up a bit after lunch, so I got a few loads of washing out on the line - and I've had a couple of hours waving that hot hissy thing around. Just stopped for a cuppa - not much to do now. Then I can get dinner and put my feet up!

Qwerty - I've just hoovered round after having DS2's puppy yesterday - bit of toilet roll, moss from the garden and various other bits of debris. Looks much better now.

Enjoying the peace and quiet! Off shortly to see the Yr3/4 school play ( That's the age group I hear reading and I was invited to come and watch them!).
Rained heavily most of the day here, but now the sun is shining. Felt sorry for the lads doing the guttering, but they did some work before disappearing. Back tomorrow along with plasterer.
Sad to say that hot, hissy thing has died ! As I can't do any washing, I may leave it for a day or two before I replace it.
Hope you're new pill work Oma! You'll need to make sure you know where all the toilets are when you're out, just in case!!!
