Good morning all. Bright and sunny here but chilly.

A good day here yesterday, went for a nice walk across the park, the longest walk we’ve done for ages and it went very well. Back home for lunch then round to a friends for tea and cake. He has just had his 80th birthday so lots of cake to eat up. A very pleasant afternoon.

Nana, hope you’re feeling better today and that your sister is OK. Once they’ve done the scan they will start the treatment if needed straight away. Both my DH and DD have had DVT and it is scary but responds well when treated quickly. They now have to have blood thinning injections when they fly to prevent it happening again, which is very reassuring,

Popping out tomget a bit of shopping this morning then hopefully will be able to get out in the garden later. Have a good day everyone 🌞

Morning all, sunny here as well but chilly. Seen DD again yesterday tiny signs of improvement. But as her weight went down a little she was on 3.2 litres of fluid yesterday and she is struggling to drink. Sadly this is the only way she will get better, but she said it's hard to drink when you don't feel thirsty. Water gets a bit boring so Doc said she can have juice, squash or coke as long as she drinks. She won't get to rehab until their entirely happy with her sodium level. Onwards and upwards,a step at a time.

        Good morning everyone.

Nana, I hope you feel a bit more human soon, and all turns out well for your sister..
Clover, It's horrible when cats use other peoples gardens as a toilet. As a cat owner myself I can only say that the owners probably are unaware, and would be unable to do much about it anyway. The more you work on your garden and make the soil nice and soft, the more the little blighters like it, I'm afraid. The roll netting should do the job!
It must be difficult to get your DD to drink enough when she's not thirsty Libra. I hope she is well when you see her today.

A quick visit to the forum this time, as I have tpo get ready and go to a library meeting. This afternoon I will go to nursery and collect GS2 after his lunch. I will bring him back here fir the afternoon, then daddy will collect him after work then go for GD who is at an after school club today. So I won't see my little girl this week.

It's nippy but sunny here, have a good day everyone.

Good morning, everyone. It's bright and sunny here, but frosty.

I didn't manage to get on here properly yesterday - my usual manic Tuesday, and today is nearly as bad/good. It's good really - we're off to OH's pensioners' club (it's got a catchy name so we don't feel so old!!) for coffee and lunch. Friends are picking us up so I need to get my skates on and get a few chores done before they arrive.

Sending love to everyone and I'll catch up on all your news later!

            Good moaning each.
Nana I hope you feel better today, if not, stay where you are and sleep on. LG you must be feeling so much better being ‘on site’and able to see your daughter and also help at home. SiL must be relieved to have strong support. Gem, you put me to shame. You are always so busy! Enfys I hope you can get on with the garden, enjoy. Likewise you Daisy and your lunch. Have a jolly time.
Hairdressers this morning, (long job) and some food shopping. Revving up for the DDs descending for lunch tomorrow, one on a diet, no carbs, and one with allergies. 😬 I have to try to be inventive.

Good morning ladies what a beautiful day it is even though a wee bit frosty the sun is shining so I am venturing out for the day with my lovely friend Margeret who used to volunteer for me when I worked at the Charity shop we meet up every couple of weeks to put the world right so to speak.
To-day we are meeting and catching the bus over to Liverpool to pay a visit to JLewis's baby department as DIL (she who must be obeyed) was really pleased with the organic cotton baby clothes I bought and she wants some more of the white little knotted topped hats for first born's so we are using it as an excuse to lunch in the Adelphi Hotel who do a good special pensioners menu, just need to keep Margs out of the Gin Bar !!
What a difference the sun makes to how you feel ladies, even though I need my big coat and boots it feels so good to have a nice day out after such a bad couple of months feeling poorly.

                  Morning.
Just been round for blood tests.OH ready for his annual check and me for my thyroid check.Learned that my favourite doctor has left the practice. She was so nice and kind. Hope I can settle with one of the other partners..
Just waiting for Tesco delivery and then must do some cooking.

Libra I’m glad your DD is still improving. Drinking when you already feel full is very difficult.

Oma why did I suddenly think that as dog is so intelligent it could be B snoring on his blanket and dog watching the Sky news.

Enjoy whatever you are up to and if feeling less than 100% I hope you feel better really soon.

Booked in to view a 3 bed bungalow tomorrow, 11 minutes from DD. Property is much cheaper here.

Hubby was doing a job in the conservatory yesterday,so we've just cleaned it top to bottom, inside and out.

Libra, hope the bungalow viewing goes well.

                          Good afternoon all

Libra good luck with the bungalow viewing . Hope you find DD has managed to drink more water today.

As a cat owner I understand how frustrating it is to have cats use the garden as their toilet . Our cat is unusual in the fact that she never goes into any of the neighbours garden, in fact she never even goes over a fence or through the garden gate. She stays firmly in the back garden , only ever going out the front if we are with her . What we do get is her using the garden as a toilet as well as countless other cats !

Today we went to town to visit the Cathedral that has a display of the 'weeping poppies' . It looked so lovely, very moving in fact .

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good luck with the viewing Libra if you think it is the right move. Hope your OH is getting on ok on his own. Hope you find your DD improved today.
Hope the stinging throat does't develop into anything to make you poorly Oma.
Glamm I hope your trip over the water proves to be successful and enjoyable. Let your friend have a gin, don't be a spoil sport.
Seen pics on Facebook of the Cathedral with the poppies, it looks beautiful
WI this morning, the speaker was from the RNLI, very good. GGS is in with my DD and is fast asleep, hope to see him later, he is a birthday boy tomorrow, shame he will be at his nursery. Family tea party on Sunday. Off to WW at 5pm, hope I have maintained my weight, not expecting miracles as long as I haven't gained.

Sounds interesting Nana but fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it I am not of working age which is one of the criteria
