Good moaning each. Beautiful day here, but not for long according to the weather forecast. No fresh food left in the fridge so I’ll have to go shopping. I was having such a lovely time with my window vac yesterday, still some to do to finish though.

Plant - no he doesn't, but he ought to. He sometimes takes them to craft shows, but mostly he gives them away! But he sometimes buys and sells bits of woodturning equipment on eBay, and this is a chuck. Shiny things are hard to photograph well because I haven't got much control of light in the kitchen. There's one shot where a blue reflection is showing - it's my jumper! If I was doing it as a proper product shoot I'd have to use a light tent but this is good enough just to show the item clearly. Done and dusted, now!

Lovely day here, sun is shining and showing up my dirty windows . Got a son with a window cleaning business, but pin him down to do mine- no chance. I have cooked and frozen some meals for while Im away, just some clothes to iron and then packing to do. T has the memory tests today and I presume we then learn if it's home with care package or Newton Abbot to rehab.

I have more to say about my visit to my mum yesterday but it will go in my journal when I have time, tomorrow.
Today was an early start with our hairdresser coming then DD arrived with GS2 just before she left.
GS a little under the weather with his teeth, has needed lots of cuddles and was ready for a sleep straight after lunch. I usually let him play for about half an hour or more, before changing him and taking him up.
GD to collect from school soon. Luckily for me OH's away golf competition was cancelled, so GS can continue his nap.
Tonight we are eating out with friends, someones birthday celebration.

Evening grandmas back from day out with DD it was lovely to have her to ourselves , window shopped mostly took my trousers back that had bred in my bag lol, had coffee and later lunch, she’s amazing losing this weight goes to 4 different keep fit classes a week that’s done the trick, wouldn’t have cake with her coffee we had fish and chips later that’s twice this week she only had a fish and mushy peas but she kept pinching my chips 🙄
Battening down now for the weather tomorrow eldest g/d is supposed to be camping with the brownies tomorrow albeit in a Hall in Ilkley it’s the first time she’s been away without any family but she’s sharing bunks with her best friend so hopefully all will be well if they get there

O who is almost 10 now is off to France Skiing with the school tomorrow , he has had weekends away with Cubs so we know he will be ok but its scary them going off for the night for the first time

Hope the GC enjoy their trips, Qwerty and Oma. Mine is off to Isle of Wight on Monday. He was very excited about it last weekend, so he's probably high as a kite by now! School trips were something I dreaded when I was teaching. On one residential trip, we discovered one of the boys (Yr 6) had smuggled booze in. He was quickly dispatched home. The worst thing was that his father was on the board of governors and was a nasty piece of work. We did spot checks after that, just in case!

I didn’t clean a single piece of glass today! Drs appointment this morning, followed by Asda followed by an afternoon of nothingness due to visual migraine. No headache but visual flashing circles. It makes me very tired afterwards.
Jolly good luck to all those littlies going on trips. I have a vague memory of DD1 and pal getting into big trouble for putting itching powder in someone’s sleeping bag. 🙄
