Still snowing but just flurrys now , got Dr's this morning for another round of Childhood jabs for B , that's if we can get the car out of the street ,
Overturned lorry blocking the Highway behind our house just beyond the trees , can see the flashing lights through them of the Emergency teams , Going to be lots of delays with rush hour traffic .

Stay in and keep warm those of you who don't have to go out not worth chancing the roads if its as deep as hear ,.

Morning ladies, none of the white stuff here,but bitterly cold. Take care if your out today, Shiloh will get a quick dash around the park. Too cold to stay out longer. Hubby is always nagging I go to bed to late !!! So last night I bathed and was in bed by 10.30. consequently I was wide awake by 6.45. Stripped bed and put to wash, cleaned kitchen, polished lounge and now about to put the Hoover round. It's okay all this getting up early but I will be wiped out by lunch time 😕😕 Think I'm better off as a night owl. Chicken casserole with dumplings today, nice and warming on a cold day.

It has snowed a lot here and still snowing lightly. Looks pretty, yes, but not to go out in! OHs golf is cancelled. I have to collect GS1 from school and bring him back here, so I hope the roads are clear by then.

Very,very cold here though no snow..I must make sure to de- ice the birds water. Yesterday I had to do it twice.

I have a cold 10 minute walk to work but there is usually a nice cup of coffee waiting there.

Qwerty, I’ve just read about your friend at the funeral. I can’t imagine how awful it must have been for everyone there. As someone else said funerals are bad enough anyway. I hope you managed to get some sleep last night. Sending love and sympathy to you and the 2 families. Hugs

Good morning everyone. No snow here but arctic temperatures. Spoke to DS1 this morning. He’s in Denmark and no snow there either. I think it was warmer, too.

It’s my busy day with GD2 who has a cough, and Cooper who has got more energy than he can handle without being silly. He needs a good walk ,and GD2 needs to stay in and keep warm. Sorry Cooper. 😟

I’ll read other posts later, but stay warm all you snowed-in people. 😘

Good morning, no snow here, lovely sunshine but bitterly cold. I didn’t wake up until 8.50!,! I got up at 4 to go to the bathroom and that was it, must have needed the sleep. Have to go to hairdressers this morning, a nice walk across the park. It’s not worth taking the car, I spend as long trying to park as it takes me to drive there and the walk does me good. So glad it’s not snowing. Have a good day and stay warm everyone.

Had to change Dr's appointment till Friday side roads are lethal and roundabout at bottom of road where we turn off blocked with traffic as they recover the overturned lorry .

Had a sprinkling of snow yesterday afternoon, sunny now, we should be expecting some later apparently. Not sure why we had a disruption in train and air transport yesterday.
Was hoping to go to find the shoes I need today but I will see how it goes as I am not dressed yet.

I have to admit I have been to Tesco this morning but it was for cat food, two onions and some hand cream .

😂😂 your post made me laugh Mimi, I get your thinking 1 inch of snow and Brits go into overdrive just in case they get snowed in . I haven't been brave enough to take the 🐕 for a walk yet.
