Surprise, surprise, it’s raining ....again 💦☔️. Getting really fed up with it now!! No plans for today, we have DD and family coming for lunch tomorrow so will have a tidy round and do some housework! Just noticed this morning that the cherry tree in the front garden has blossom, just need the sun to come out 🌞 and this rain to STOP! Have a good day everyone.

Beautiful sunshine here, but for how long I wonder...Ground very wet so it has been raining in the night. I managed to finish the inside windows cleaning yesterday and also the kitchen cupboard cleaning! I feel cleansed. Cooking is the main task of today in readiness for tomorrow’s invasion. I’m such a housewife just now, I don’t recognise myself from the slattern who usually lives here.
I’m just waiting to see whether OH produces the promised Easter egg tomorrow. 😁

Grauntie hope OH remembers your Easter egg. I know for certain that Oh won't be getting me one . We stopped buying Easter eggs for each other when the DC arrived and we have gotten out of the habit now !

We didn't Aggie , we bought a Game for GS2 Xbox , LOL dolls for GD and GS1 wanted money ,
I wont get a Egg cant eat them with Diabetes and to be honest if I do eat chocolate its dark not milk .

Went to MIL's she calls these wet dark days her suicidal days put her recycle out she had it piled in a basket by the back door as it was too windy and wet to go out ,so did it before we came home ,

Took Hot cross buns back to M&S for refund they had had a few people complain said it was a batch problem and they had taken that lot off the shelves , offered me another pack but I declined ,

Hi all from a worn out Gran, I realize I'm not cut out for 3 weeks 24/7 anymore. Feel incredibly tired, Menna is acting like a rebellious teenager and T well being T 😖 As fast as I tidy they wreck, have no idea about putting things away, picking up after the it's like being on a roundabout. Libra - yes, I can see what you mean about needing some updating, but I always think it's good to decorate etc when you move into a new house, rather than live with somebody else's choices. If it was bang up to the minute but not your taste it would be harder because there wouldn't be the same need to change things. At least, it's relatively new and modern and well-maintained, so it's just cosmetic.
