It's been miserably cold and dull here. This is getting beyond a joke - in two days it will be May and I'm sitting here with a t-shirt, a fleece and a big thick cuddly jumper on - and I'm not too warm! The outside thermometer mid-afternoon read 7C, but it felt much colder than that.

Nanto - it's amazing sometimes how a phone call goes on and on, isn't it.

Plant - the weather is supposed to be much better by Thursday, so I'm sure you'll be basking in the sunshine.

Grauntie - I don't know about this weather being dangerous for online shopping, but last week I bought 3 t-shirts - for the SUMMER!!! - and then liked one of them so much this week I bought it in a different colour - plus a couple more. So now I've got 6 lovely new t-shirts just sitting in my drawer waiting for the sun to shine. I must be mad!

Ouch, breaking down on any motorway is bad enough. I hope it was fixed quickly, and there was a hard shoulder available.

Oma - I've always said cough mixture is a waste of time (and horrible), and if it doesn't last 51 years without going off that just proves me right! Clover, I'm sure your best before 2011 items are in perfect condition.

Doesn't Monday morning seem to come round quickly. It still feel like the start of the working week for me with having GDs today and tomorrow.

It looks like yet another dull, miserable day, although with the forecasted rain it could get worse!


We've got someone coming to clean the caravan today. It feels very lazy of us not to do it ourselves, but reaching up to clean the roof is very difficult and entails using steps on a sloping drive! It will be lovely to see it shining and clean and all ready for some outings. This time last year we'd had two short breaks, but the weather has been so awful we haven't used it yet this year.

Good morning, dull and dreary here and cold!! I’ve put the heating on. We both had a good night, sleep can do wonders. I’m going to do some baking today and make some soup,for the freezer...well, that’s the plan, might go all cock eyed 🤓

Tomorrow GD1 and I are off to Warminster for three nights. We are going to Longleat on Wed and Isle of Wight on Thursday, do hope the weather improves. Daisy I hope you are right that Thursday might be better weather, don't fancy being on the Isle of Wight in the rain. difficult to know what clothes to pack.

Enfys, pleased to hear you have your OH back home and that you both slept well. Get planning those short trips.

We used to clean our caravan roof with a hose and a broom Daisy, not easy balancing on steps. Hope you can get off for some trips soon.

This morning OH, my auntie and I are going out for morning coffee, to the coffee shop in the village. We usually have a look around a few shops with her too.
OH also wants to go th a plant nursery for tomato plants. She was unimpressed by the ones in B&Q the other day.
I need to write up my minutes, as I haven't had time since Wednesdays meeting. A bit of forum work to do too, so today will be quite busy all in all!

Just had a text off the vets, apparently my cats next three months worth of flea and worming treatment is ready to collect , oh the non stop excitement ....... can't contain myself .

Well we have got a beautiful Spring day here. Just got back from a walk along the cliffs.Don’t mean to rub it in if you are having a less than lovely day weather wise.

Just heard from replacement car dept. They are not able to get a direct replacement of my car until July as it is going to have to come from the manufacturers. I can see I shall have to call in a few more favours, plus taxis. All the questions I am being asked are giving me a headache. I have just been told I need to send of the change of ownership to the DVLA, I should get some money back from them. Just got back from J Lewis, I bought myself a windproof waterproof jacket to take away with me.

Clover, your Spring day walk sounded lovely, we are having a dry but a very cold wind is blowing.

The weather here has been sunny but blustery, the forecast of sleet seems to have not come to fruition thank goodness. For almost May it's blooming chilly 😨 a week or so ago I was dog walking in a t shirt, now back to 3 layers and boots 😒 If the forecast is to be believed we are due hotter temperatures by thursday, now no one hold their breath 😀. Apart from dogs, a bit of craft and the usual housework it's been a same old day. Rather quiet on the viewings front, not a one all week. 😞 Hope it picks up soon. Hope you all had a good day.

Oma, i feel fine thank you, but then i thought i felt fine last week.
Been on the tablets 6 days now, and i can feel a change in myself.
I feel brighter, if you know what i mean, and less irritable.
But before,i didn't realise was irritable.

Had plenty of sunshine today,but it's been blooming cold.
Surely it's got to warm up soon.

No Gem its getting worse , I get this flare up a couple times a year lasts sometimes a week then goes as quick as it comes , , just taking it easy ill be ok
