Good morning, cold and bright here with a red sky. Off to get my hair cut this morning and I will be so pleased to get it done. It’s been driving me mad! Thinking about having it cut short again but dithering....

Then this afternoon I’m out with a friend again, all this gadding about 🙂. So nice to catch up with people after the few weeks we’ve had.

Just watching the news - all about Black Friday! I won’t be taking part, sometimes what seems to be a bargain isn’t and there’s nothing I want anyway.

I always ignore Black Friday but I have heard of people getting great bargains, so last night I looked on Amazon and bought some small travel sized hair straighteners (I only do my fringe) greatly reduced, but had to be bought in less than 15 minutes, so no time to look around for any more bargains on that order. When I added postage on, it was still a saving, but not such a saving as I intended
I certainly wouldn't go to shops for Black Friday bargains either Mimi and Oma.

GS2 will be here in a while, then his sister to collect from school later. Not sure what to make for their tea. Pasta of some sort I think!

Good morning, ladies. Nanto - that graphic is really appealing, even though I hate the cold. That poor girl's legs must be frozen!

It's quite mild here, no sun, but otherwise pretty good for late November.

OH has gone off to the supermarket - we've got friends coming for a meal tonight and I'm being very lazy and buying desserts rather than making them, but I'm going to do my 'signature dish' (yes, I have been watching Masterchef, the Professionals!) of pot roasted beef in red wine, with roasties, roast cauliflower and parsnips, Yorkshire puds, and other veg. One of our friends is allergic to garlic so I try to make up with other flavours.

I wouldn't go near the shops today either (I don't think getting OH to go to the supermarket counts!) but I have ordered a few small bits and pieces on Amazon - exciting stuff like a new battery charger! I know how to splash out.

Enfys - be brave with your hair cut! It's good to have a change and you've got nice thick hair that will look good whatever you choose. Enjoy your gadding about.

GS2, also a cutie, is fast asleep with beloved teddy. As OH is here, I can leave him where he is and go alone to collect GD.
Last time I did this she spent the whole of the 30-40 minute drive home telling me about a girl in her class who was making trouble for her and her friends. I wonder if there will be dramas to tell me about today?!

Turning really cold now.
We've just been to farmfoods to stock up on ice creams(i know we shouldn't) they were gritting their car park,
it was icy in some parts.

They have been gritting so expecting a frost tonight, it is very cold. Warfarin clinic today followed by a Waitrose shop then National Trust Group, the speaker was excellent, he spoke about the history of Nursery Rhymes, very interesting. My GS3 cologne/after shave was half price in the Black Friday deals, so I am topping it up with a pair of joggers.

Oma, he is the most handsome dog.
