We had a sprinkling of snow and freezing cold wind. I haven't heard anything about the car, rang the company today, the young man dealing with it was not in today, his day off, asked if he could ring me after lunch tomorrow. I enjoyed the film The Finest Hour yesterday, lots of speeches and shouting, very good acting.

Waiting for baby Stephen to come, while mam and dad are both at work, so a bit of us bonding time....

Didn't get very far yesterday regarding MIL, made so many phone calls, but got nowhere, huge waiting lists, were told to do an online application for YHN our local council housing, i rang them at 8.30am to speak to someone about it as they deal with sheltered accommadation with the extra care package MIL needs, kept getting told someone would ring me back still waiting, I know there under staffed, but we cant do anything until I know where we stand with them, so that is infuriating, think OH is going to have to move in with her for the short term... MIL has an allocated Social Worker so maybe try and speak to him today....

Going to have a cuppa before my little fella turns up, hope everyone has a nice day and keeps warm....xx

Avo - I'm glad the sun is still up there somewhere - enjoy it.

To be fair, it's also sunny here but about 2C not 21C!! It was very blowy in the night - when I let Eva out before bed there was something banging around in the garden, but I couldn't see it in the dark, then this morning I realised - dustbin lids! I don't know why I didn't think of that!!

Pearl - have a lovely day with your little man. It must be so frustrating not being able to get the help your MIL needs, but hopefully the allocated social worker will at least be able to get things started.

Enfys - yes, keep your OH warm and well away from all the bugs today. My OH is really under the weather with it - I've had to cancel my lunch out today because I'll need to be here for the man coming to do my car - I don't want OH having to go in and out and dealing with it. It's funny, isn't it - I thought I was going to have a busy week and have had to cancel two things. Hey ho! Winter won't last for ever!

Nanto - I hope your In Laws are ok. What's in the slow cooker today?

Good morning all, I have a trip to the dentist on my to do list today. It’s an appointment that has been cancelled twice because of bad weather and staff being able to get in. Better luck today.....or not....it is the dentist after all.

Well plans have changed , went to Aldi at the top of our road ,although the main roads are clear the side roads are horrendous ,
Several cars on the grass where they have skidded and hard going everyone is crawling ,
MIL rang her road is on a steep incline and its totally blocked they have a van that has come to a stop sideways across the road and cant move it .
Aldi car park wasn't cleared so dangerous , B stayed in the car while I popped in for milk and a few things I didn't want him trying to walk in it and couldn't push the wheelchair through it .
A free day for us ,

Rang DD she hasn't gone into work shes been up most of the night with this cold , told her not to take the dog out but SIL's parents have him today

Good. slightly late, morning everyone.

I was at the hospital this morning for my first annual fellow up appointment. All well as far as the consultant can tell. He was obviously pleased with the visible results of his work, as am I. All his dire warnings of how it may look haven't come to be. Apart from the now silvery scar, it looks the same as the other one. Just the mammogram at the end of the month to have now.

Usual Thursday routine the rest of today. Mums shopping this afternoon and visiting her. She has been quite moany lately, so I hope it's better today!

Good idea to change your plans when it is so bad out Oma. I hope your poor DD feels better soon. So many bugs about atm

Morming folk nursing a black eye from yesterday thought it would be sore and a bit of a bruise but it’s a shiner 👁 I put the toys away yesterday didn’t have the energy Tuesday eve, put a shopping trolley of the kids on a high shelf in the toy wardrobe band must have dislodged a stool that we are keeping when twins need the loo and not the pottys and it fell out and hit me in the face just under my eye , glad . I am at cinema today and no one can see me you know what people think , Iv been punched 🥊

So many poorly people its been a funny few month for flues upset stomach's etc hasn't it , and you know its bad when they stay in bed don't you .

Getting a headache coming on so took a couple of pills , its just a combination of lack of sleep and the brightness of the snow , my eyes are very light sensitive people must think I'm mad when I walk around in Sun glasses

Watching next doors little grandson who is 3 playing in the snow , his cheeks are bright red with the cold but the smile and the giggling hes doing is so lovely to see and hear ,
Brian said nothing lifts your spirits like hearing little ones laugh it makes you smile even when you don't feel like it

We have been lucky with the weather today, very windy in the night but it has been very sunny and the wind had dropped.

Aqua for me today, when I got back I found I had left my swimming costume on the floor of the changing room. Not sure if a member of the class will take it home for me or if they will hand it in. Good job I have another one.
Had a call about the car this morning, I am able to pick it up on Tuesday morning so I have been in a bit of a state looking for the log book etc. It was in the car file all the time, I just get into a panic these days. they are going to send me some registration numbers for me to choose one, didn't expect that.
