Everything fine at Hospital although his Chinerisms (sp) have only gone up to 20% of our Martins and should be 100% now ,
This is his immune system that fights off the cancer cells , but they think its other meds he is taking for Hep B keeping it down

He has a CT scan on 24th Consultant said his Lymphoma blood count is very good so doesn't expect any relapse but you never know , he,s also putting on weight and that's good too ,
Back again in 4 weeks if his Ct scan comes back ok they may extend his appointments to ever 3 month

Youngest son just been with his girlfriend. The've been an iyem for about 6/7 weeks.
it's the first time we have met her,and she is nice.

Just booked a test drive for Sat. but I have asked for a drive in the Cooper as it has a larger engine, boy racer that I am.

When there's so much medical terminology it's hard to understand what's happening sometimes. Your drs seem to explain everything to you Oma, which must help you greatly. I hope your OH's biopsy goes well Enfys. He's probably home now.
New cars, new carpets, Zizi & Oma's purchases (ooo & Qwerty's beautiful ring) looks like there's lots of happy Grans this new yr.
I went to Orthotics & he's referring me back to my doc. The knee splint will interfere with my lymphoedema so I need referring back to the lymph'a clinic. He couldn't understand why I'd not had an xray or scan. Me neither.

Hairdresser visit went well I always have what my hairdresser calls “a good tidy up”. She gave me a voucher for £5 off next time. Must remember to take it when I go.

I made a big fish pie yesterday so finishing it off today so just veg. to do. I also made an Apple Brown Betty, haven’t made one for years and it makes a change from crumble,pie etc.

Nana my best friend has Lymphoedema in both legs they are very large and some days shes in agony ,
She has them in special strappings and it effects her feet too so has to have special shoes from the Lympho clinic .
It makes walking difficult as does sleeping , a very uncomfy thing to have , I sympathise with you .

Just got back from picking DH up from hospital. It all went very well and he is feeling fine, just a bit sore which is to,be expected. The anaesthetist came and spoke to us to explain all about it and he should have the results in about 10 day’s, so probably when he is in having the bowel op. So pleased it is all over. He couldn’t believe that he knew nothing about it, no sensation of going to sleep or anything, things have changed so much. Phew, can relax now for a few days.

Enfys, I'm glad the biopsy is over and hope OH is less sore soon. I remember my OH's bone biopsy and me not being able to stay in the hospital with her. Good to get them back home afterwards.

Oma, B likes to be awkward, so he's hanging onto his own cells!! It will be nice for you both when his checks are every 3 months.

I think I will give myself a night off tonight, and will be busy all day tomorrow and out tomorrow night.
But Saturday will see me typing up these minutes!

Enfys good news he didn't feel a thing and is feeling ok , now just have to get the 19th over and done with and move forward

Mimi, yes it is a dessert. The version of Apple Brown Betty I made is a Mary Berry recipe. Breadcrumbs are cooked in butter in a pan until golden,mixed with cinnamon and sugar and then layered with thinly sliced cooking apples and sugar and cooked in the oven.

We’re off to Gran Canaria on Monday but staying near Gatwick on Sunday. Had a really nice tagliatelle with tomatoes and goats cheese, and a couple of glasses of red, with whitebait to start yum yum it was delicious! No dessert, but I might eat a Christmas chocolate or two now I’m home!

That Brown Betty sounds delish, might have to make some when we get home.
