Grey and wet here! Changed the bed linen - no chance of putting it outside, so having to tumble it 😞!

I'm feeling rubbish. Got DD1 & 2GC for a sleepover Friday. I love to see them & she needs help (being 1/2 term) but we both feel shattered. Sorry I'm Mrs Grumpy... a lot going on.
It's lambing season at Cannon Hall Farm & I follow them on Facebk. Once you see it you're hooked. A fabulous farming family. I'm now an expert on 'twin lamb disease, prolapses, bruised teats, afterbirth eating (😲🙈)tube feeding, lambs 1st milk, colostrum' & the different sheep types. Poor Dolly the yew has oedema so needs to deliver soon. Their broadcast is around 6-6.30am each day for you early risers.
Seems as though severe weather is forecast next week..the East Beast apparently. From Norway (?) it seems.
Love to any poorly people (& pets). Hope you'll all be better soon.xxLast edited by Nana; 20-02-2018, 10:32 PM."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Beautiful day here, very sunny and quite warm, Hairdresser just gone, feel nice and tidy now. the same hairdresser has been doing my hair for 29 years. I might go and sort out the pots in the courtyard but if we are forecast some cold weather it might be best to leave planting the primulas out.
Enfys, pleased to hear your OH is feeling like a little trip out, planning the garden sounds good.
Oma, hope that temp stays down and the scan is okay, what on earth is cheese savoury?
Gemini, sorry you have to miss your evening out, you are having a bad time.
Sorry Nana, I will not be joining you for Cannon Farm Hall broadcasts, although it does sound interesting.

Good afternoon ladies. I’ve got a quiet few seconds to say ‘hello’, I think! Cooper’s having his post lunch snooze and GD2 is watching Peppa Pig. It’s beautifully bright and sunny but with a bitter cold wind which Cooper hates. So no walkies at the moment.
I’ll catch up properly later, the peace could end at any minute. 🤨🤨🤨"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

My mums prescription arrived, so I took it round for her, rather than have her wait until I see her on Thursday. She said her eyes weren't so good today (she has macular degeneration) so I don't know what that is about. She gets so fed up when things are not working well, but I think she forgets she is in her 90th year. I hung towels on the line as it is still fine and sunny here. I'm staying put now!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Gem, dad had macular degeneration and he had ‘off’ days with his eyes. Although the eyes did not change from day to day , it was his ability to cope with them from day to day so I suppose your mum, like my dad did had days when they weren’t so good.
Absolutely sharttered now. We have spent most of the morning doing over the boarders and generally tidying up the patio. Then we had to move several bags of potting compost from the shed to the storage bin beside my potting bench .My back is letting me know it didn’t approve of such hard work.
Its turned cold out there now that the sun has disappeared and the wind has got up, still it is only February.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Oh Aggie, no broadband is not good!
Mimi, I'm sure you're right about mum's eyes. Put your feet up now, you've done enough!
Nana and Nan2, I heard we had that cold weather to look forward to as wellHope you feel better soon Nana.
Well, not long after I got home from dropping off Mum's prescription she phoned me. She had switched off her gas fire and couldn't get it back on. As she has no central heating, is 89 and tiny, no way can she be in that room with no heat. I resigned myself to going back, but phoned OH first. She had been at the golf club all morning. Too wet underfoot to play so they met for morning coffee then stayed for lunch (what a life LOL) She was about to leave so I asked if she could go to mums rather than me go again, She did and said she was glad she did as she doubted I could have done it (weakling hands!) OH says the gas was hard to light and the fire needs servicing,. We are going to get the man who does ours to go.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

I was about to ask what cheese savoury is! Thanks you for enlightening me. I'd never heard of it!!! Bet it makes a tasty toasted cheese!! Hope it's perked B up abit.
Rain off and on all day here and cold wind too. Was going to walk back from garage this morning after going with OH and his car for MoT, but as man at garage said, this kind of rain really soaks you! So I drove back with OH.Car passed, so that's him for another year.
Am trying, unsuccessfully, to get something sorted for OH's 70th in March. Typically it's Mother's Day the same weekend. He must be THE most difficult man to buy for.
Afternoon at school listening to reading. One said, could he stay a bit longer because he'd rather be with me than learning a dance for their end-of-term play. Not sure whether to take that as a compliment or not!!Believe you can and you're halfway there.
