Oh dear, I seem to be having a run of 'odd' days where things don't go to plan! At least it's been sunny today and we even had lunch in the garden and had a cuppa out there with a neighbour who called round.
I got some washing dried too - our Duvalay covers which are heavy and cumbersome. A bit like having a duvet cover and a sheet sown together but they're so good for the caravan that it's worth it! Just need ironing now. I finally managed to speak to everyone involved to organise a late 80th birthday barbecue for a friend for this Sunday. They were away for her birthday, and we were away afterwards, but she loves barbecues and her OH doesn't do them.
I took Eva out for a long walk in the Forest this afternoon. It's the New Forest Show this week and the village and the camp sites are packed, so I was surprised how quiet it was out and about. We're not going to the show until the last day, Thursday, and I'm helping some friends on their charity stand for a couple of hours, but will also have time to go round the show - something I always enjoy.
Gem, I'm sorry to hear your friend T isn't well. It must be lonely for him if he can't get out much. I hope GS enjoys his trip to Glasgow, and you have had a good evening with your friends.
Nanto, that rose is beautiful. I'm sure I can even smell it! Did you enjoy your lunch at the pub?
Oma, I hope the hedgehog is ok, as well as the pigeon. It's a worry when they are out in the day-time, isn't it. Plant's right - Mrs Doolittle will need a sanctuary at this rate.
Plant, hasn't today been a lovely respite from all the showery weather we've been having. I'm sure I feel better and more energetic when the weather is good!
Another busy day tomorrow - dog training and then taking Eva over to DS2's for a sleepover so we can go to the NF Show on Thursday without worrying about her.
