Hallo everyone, a late posting! I did coffee this morning then called in at the centre I used to do coffee at on a Monday for a chat with the "old" ladies.

This afternoon I decided to oil my sewing machines, I found a site on-line during the lock down and it is very handy, all is working well! Oh, and I sorted the sewing drawers out as well.

Oma, you will be pleased with your new drawers and top, I have so many drawers all over the house! I bought a coffee table/chest a few years ago, it has 9 drawers, it was very handy when the GC were here for drawing etc, in fact, the crayons etc are still in one of the drawers.

Gem, it would be lovely to meet the new baby from next door, I bet they are so proud!

I have to go to the podologist at 8pm here in the village,he will sort my new support soles out, I am all bits and pieces, I got my new compression sleeves last week, this time a very good fit! Now I have to decide what colour I want for the second pair! We get 2 pair each year through the insurance.

It has been dry here most of the day, well all day in fact, a few dark clouds but they passed us by.

Hubby out for a couple of hours, then we are eating at the pub today with sis in law and her hubby.

A nice morning here also Nanto.
Up with the sparrows this morning so everything is washed dusted and hoovered ,
Not sure what’s on today just see what turns up .
B was going to put the drawers together today but told him to wait till the weekend

DD has rescued yet another pigeon, got it in the garage in a a cat carrier ,
Doesnt look anything wrong with it it’s plump enough just doesn’t want to fly .

One of her old work friends phoned her yesterday to say it was just sitting in her garden for hours ,
So Mrs Doolittle went to get it ,
Shes going to take it down to the allotments where they have pigeons to see if they will have a look at it and give advise .
She usually takes them to the local sanctuary but with bird flu they not taking any pigeons in at the minute .
Honestly that girl will take any lame duck in 🙄😁

Library this morning, then I am am going to see my friend and ex neighbour T this afternoon. No GS1 today as he is off to Glasgow with his dad to see his other grandparents. We have been invited to friends for a meal tonight. They have eaten at ours a couple of times and have been promising to invite us back for ages. Tonight is the night!

I'm still at the library, covering for the librarian who is in on his own all day, so he can get some lunch. It's clouding over fast so as soon as he is back I will go and bring the towels off the line before they get wet! Rain forecast this afternoon.

I almost got them in in time! A bit damp but not too bad.
It has been dry and sunny since, but a big downpour just after 1.

I was glad I went to see my friend T. He's not too well and finding it really hard to walk so hasn't really seen anyone. He doesn't drive so that isolates you more I think.
He said several times how good it was to see me
I will bring him here for coffee after our holidays.

Gemini, sorry to read that your old neighbour is feeling poorly, I am sure he was very pleased to see you. I hope GS1 has an enjoyable trip to see his GP, I am sure they will be pleased to see him.

We have had a lovely sunny day today, I have spent most of it with GD1 and H. JL this morning and playground this afternoon a bit of shopping along the way.
