Baby E and his parents have gone for the breakfast in town with a friend.
I am having reflexology this morning.
Picking GS2 up from school and taking him home for an hour then we will go to his school summer fair starting at 4.30. 90% chance of rain

Been to see to cats then to Iceland ,
Was going to nip to M&S but I didn’t get much sleep last night so I’m not very energetic this morning ,
will leave it till tomorrow now

Surprisingly we are missing the dog this morning seems like something missing 😕

Good Friday morning everyone.

Nanto, you couldn’t have chosen a more appropriate graphic for today. Although even the ducks would be running for shelter here!

I’ll do a post on our holiday when we get home. We’ve had the wettest week ever and tomorrow’s forecast is for up to 50 mph gusts to add to the fun!

We are forecast bad weather today. GD, her OH and H are coming today, DD is cooking for them. I think they have missed H this week. Lovely to see GS3 yesterday, he is such a caring young man. DS and GS sorted out a few things on my IPad, now I can’t find things. DD and Sil are expecting a Lab puppy from the Blind Ass for the day. They are going to do holiday cover in August for three weeks. They have just had a new carpet fitted in the Lounge area, bad timing.

Oma, we made very complicated folding cards at the craft group, they took us two weeks, too much chat. I will endeavour to send you a pic.

Nanto, all this talk of fish and chips is making me want some.

Gemini, busy family time for you, baby E must be getting quite active. What a difference in parenting today, I don’t expect any of us went out to breakfast, let alone with a baby. I hope the Summer Fair goes well, I hope it is inside.

Plant sadly it's a very large affair OUTSIDE! Stalls, bouncy castles, live band, food outlets etc. I am taking rain coat and brolly and ditching my summer sandals for trainers! They have organised a last minute large marquee for the field where we take our chairs and sit and enjoy the music etc. DD and SIL will be there (DD is head of the PTA) so I have no obligation to stay to the bitter end. I would if it was a lovely afternoon/evening but not in this instance.

Daisy, you were so unlucky with the weather this week Two of our friends were on holiday the same week as you and similar story.

Oma, maybe you will get a nap in today.

Well its been raining since about 10am. I bet its on for the day.
Enjoyed our fish and chips. Well hubby did, i wasn't fussed over the chips,but i did enjoy the fish.

To be honest, i don't July is ever a good month weatherwise.

Labrador puppy very excited to be here, he has a very wippy tail. I presume someone is going to collect him sometime this evening. I suppose the association think if the family survive one day with a very excitable lab puppy, they will trust them with a puppy for three weeks in August. I hope really that they get a Retriever, not so excitable.

Plant my DS has a Black lab puppy ,
He brought him last week he was only 10 weeks then .
Oh my goodness he was a handful so excitable , never stopped for a minute , biting everything and everyone stealing the cushions and my slippers trying to drag them outside .
He was very cute but gosh so tiring
I couldn’t look after a pup now , I think we are used to our good quiet boy 😁

It's a nice morning but I think rain is forecast again.

We are going to Wakefield today. Not going for anything special, just need a few bits and will browse in the shops.
Will pop into Sainsburys for milk when we go back to the car.
Dinner will be in our favourite cafe.

We are lunching out too. We are going to see our friend's H's concert. She is a music teacher and it is her pupils annual summer concert this morning. We are going out to lunch with H and a few friends afterwards.
It actually dry at the moment but breezy. I think all the rain was used up yesterday

Good morning, it is still dry here, rain is forecast though. I am going for a walk to the library to return a book and do some shopping on the way. The infection near my groin has healed but I will keep to my promise and not go out on the bike!
DS1 and family arrived in Croatia yesterday, they stayed near Munich for one night on their journey.

Sunshine atm, hope it lasts. I am having a might do sort of day. Might do some shopping, food getting short. Might clean the bathrooms. Might watch the tennis. Might just sit and do some sewing………….

It rained heavy all night so everything is a bit soggy , windy too so leaves to clear up.

Been to see to cats , DD and family get back about 4.30 in the morning as long as no delays,
So only have to see to them tea time .
We meeting SILs parents in the morning for breakfast and to get Storm back. He’s been staying with them since Thursday.
Then DD can collect him from ours later in the day

Popped to M&S after that , it was only 8.50 and already busy .
Nothing else planned just go with the flow.

I went to the Lidl at 8am, came home and later walked to the village, I wanted to pay for something, my bank card wasn't in the holder!!! I checked my account and no strange things happening so I could only think I had left it at the Lidl, I almost run from one side of the village to the other, I walked up to the young lady at the cash desk and she knew what I was there for!!! Luckily it was there! I shall see if I can get my account activated to pay with my phone as I ALWAYS have that in my pocket.
