Clover open air theatre, especially Regent's Park is a wonderful experience - as long as the weather cooperates!! I'm so glad it did.

Flooring looks great Oma. That's what I would like in our bathroom and downstairs loo.
We had rain this afternoon but no thunderstorms so far.
I went back to bed for an hour as I had a migraine ( I don't get bad ones, just the lights) I think bright sun glaring on my phone screen caused it.

I was watching the Dr on this morning I think it was yesterday , she was talking about the bright sun causing migraines and headaches,

Touch wood it’s well over a year since I had a migraine , I get headaches but not Migrain now ,
The sun gives me a headache and the heat
A nap will do you good , shame about missing antenatal appointment with DD especially as she is so close now
It could be any day now , are they settled in their new home ?

The rain has stopped but the garden is slightly flooded it was so heavy .

Good evening. Glad you are feeling better Gem.

Today is DDs birthday and luckily SIL had the day off so we went out for lunch together. I am still feeling very full, no tea for me today. It’s pouring with rain here, has been much cooler today and the plants are enjoying the rain.

Knit and natter group at the library in the morning, It’s also the week for the recycling collection and it’s amazing how busy it gets. Good to see so many people coming in with their bags for recyc, ing. It’s smaller stuff that we can’t out in our big recycling bins and I have a bag all ready.

Im panicking a bit about DS visit. I keep thinking I’ve plenty of time to get things organised but it’s only just over a week now!

My knees are really playing me up. DD keeps pestering me to go to the doctors but I don’t know what they will do apart from exercise, pain killers etc. I have lost a few pouns so I’m hoping that will help and doing the exercises so I’ll see how it goes.

              Have a good evening everyone.

I find the change in air pressure makes my knees ache ,
Maybe a visit to the Dr wouldn’t be a bad thing he may be able to give you something .worth a try isn’t it , take your DDsadvice 😁
Your DS will be here before you know it

Good morning, I am having an "oma" moment, awake in the middle of the night!! This is all because of the fridge I have been replacing for 3 years and keep putting off! This one won't cool when it is warm, it is fine normally, I have been having "warm" cooled products all this week, so, finally decided it has to go. I have had it 17 years!!! It is a built in one, I called at a friend opposite here yesterday and he will help me to fit it, it isn't much work really, that is what has been holding me back really which is stupid. I have found the one I want as I need the small freezer in it, I had a lovely "chat " with a young man yesterday on line and I am going to order it to be delivered when I arrive home. I was going to wait until then to empty this one but I don't trust it and I wouldn't like it to stop working whilst I am away as the freezer would then de-frost itself.
The freezer is almost empty and what is left I can take next door. DS2 and partner and coming for lunch so they can take what I don't need then I will be able to get it emptied before I leave.

Regarding the knee's Enfys, my right one can start aching for no reason at all! A wrong turn in bed or whatever.

Not much happening here today. Supermarket shopping, thats all.
Hubby wants to get on with titivating the new door.

Good Saturday morning everyone. We've got nice cheery sunshine, too, Nanto, but everywhere is damp after last night's rain, and it's cool.

Lizzie - it's silly how we sometimes put off doing things like change the fridge, but hopefully you'll be able to go away with peace of mind with your new one installed.

Knees are funny things, aren't they. I sometimes get pain in my right knee for no apparent reason - I hurt it dingy sailing many years ago - but most of the time it's ok.

Enfys - remember your DS and family are coming to see you, not your house. I know you want everything 'just so' but don't overdo it and leave yourself tired or stressed. Take a deep breath and have a look at the roses or whatever is in flower in your garden. Big hugs. xxx

Gem - I hope today sees you feeling a bit better. xx

I'm cooking again today, and hopefully putting up some birthday decorations. I'll try and pop back later.

                          Good morning everyone.

Nan2 grey sounds good for the door colour.

Enfys my recent steroid injection in my knee has made a lot of difference.

Awake at night thinking about fridges Lizzie!

Daisy you are a busy bee.

Quite a good night here. It's just a matter of setting the wheels in motion for getting up at some point!

Have a nice Saturday, I will check in on you all again later.

A bit late today, I am in a go slow mood today, actually I feel half asleep but good morning anyway. I had a jab for my bones yesterday, perhaps that is what is causing the lethargy.

Daisy a lot of cooking for you but I am sure your party food will be as delicious as it sounds, I hope the sun shines for you.

Oma, I think it is just as tiring planning and thinking about the logistics of doing major jobs around the home. You have been busy this year, take a break both of you.

Gemini, I hope that nasty bug has gone away for good. How is your DD3 getting on in her new home, how long has she got now? How exciting for you to have a new baby in the family.

Enfys, I agree with Daisy, just look forward to the family visit. Not long now

Lizzie, good idea to get the contents of the old fridge removed, it might all be a sludgy mess when you get home from your holiday. Are you excited?

Plant, yes, excited and nervous at the same time!!!

DS2 has just removed a few screws for the fridge to be removed, as you say, I didn't fancy returning to a thawed out freezer!
