We should have been taking my mum to the seaside today. I realised last week this wasn't going to happen as I wouldn't have the energy for such an outing. It would be too windy today anyway.

We are going to DD3's to take all the baby stuff we have bought her and the crib on wicker stand she is borrowing. It will be good to be out of the house and see how their cottage is coming together now.

I am almost finished packing, it is GD's school musical tomorrow afternoon, I am going with GD1, then I will come home and DS1 is taking me to the boat at 5pm, so, a busy day.

Oma,GD's baby due a week tomorrow. Kidneys still a problem.
I just hope they are right when they say antibiotics will sort him out.
Hoping they don't have to start thinking about operating.

Just cleaned and tidied the freezer drawers out.
I cant blame hubby,he only uses one drawer, thats where the ice creams are.

Good afternoon. Had Cooper today, poor little chap, he’s slept all day but seems ok otherwise.

DS FaceTime this morning, they are getting very excited. Oma, they will be with me for two weeks, So we are cramming in as much as we can although I’m happy just to see them, don’t mind what we do. DS and DD are making plans.

It’s been a funny day weather wise. Pouring with rain this morning, very windy and sunny now. I keep changing my tops…one minute I’m hot then I’m chilly, wish it would make up its mind.

Craft group in the morning. I have missed the last 3 so am looking forward to catching up with everyone.

We went to DD3s which was lovely.
I mostly sat on the sofa. I decided to go upstairs which I hadn't when they moved in. That exhausted me!
On the was back I asked OH to call into the shop for some fruit ice lollies. There is nothing at all I fancy to eat, but I did fancy those.

Hello everybody. Sorry I haven't -dropped in for a chat yesterday or or earlier today. I'll write about the birthday party elsewhere - all good! I'm very tired today and need a quiet evening and and early night!

We had heavy rain this morning, but the sun's shining now. It's still very windy though, and a bit chilly.

We had one **** of a storm this afternoon, I went in my car to the pool, it was so dark and thundery etc on the way home, so much rain I could hardly see the road! The 2 ladies I go with went on their bikes!!! I told one of them last week I would be going today, she listens but can't seem to remember what was said. I spoke to her and they waited until the worst of the storm had passed but still got soaked to the skin, I was the same, just getting out of the car and opening the garage door, I was drenched. There was a tornado on the lower islands where I often go, houses were blown over etc etc, at least one person was killed, they won't know for sure until they clear all the rubble etc.

Baby H is here today, Sil is looking after her as her other GM is not well enough to look after her. I will offer to help as he has a lot of things to do (with one hand), he has the garden to get ready for their party for over 40 people on Sat. DD is at work. The marquee will go up on Friday when the family arrive, even I have to hole a pole. Food is being supplied by Waitrose. I hope the sun shines for them. It is a retirement, 60th birthdays celebration.

Plant - I do hope all the preparation for the celebrations on Saturday go well. The marquee takes the worry about the weather away, doesn't it. We got most of the food for DS's birthday from Waitrose entertaining, and I have to say it was brilliant. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I bet baby H will sense there's something happening and will be excited and 'helping'. x
