Good Wednesday morning, Nanto and everyone who drops in later. What a pretty graphic to start the day.
It's damp here as well - lots of rain overnight. It also feels chilly - what's happened to summer?
GD1 wasn't well enough for our knit and natter yesterday, so we put if off until tomorrow or Friday. Sometimes I feel she's getting better then she goes right back to being too weak to do anything. I need to do a massive towel wash today then it's dog training this afternoon.
I hope everyone is ok.
Enfys - not long now. xx
Gem - I hope you're feeling a little bit better today. Take care.xx
Oma - how are you enjoying being a 'proper' pensioner now?
Plant - I hope all the preparations for Saturday are going well.
WeeGranny - have those jobs on the house been sorted out?
Glamm - did you enjoy your holiday?
Clover - I've lost track of the days - are you still at your DD's?

I feel no different until GS 1 rang yesterday and said well your officially a old lady now, then went into fits of laughter ,š±
Thats one young man getting slapped when I see him ššš
Everyone seems to have such a lot going on at the minute , I hope your all taking time for yourselves ,
Its damp and dreary here too , rained most of night ,
We have dog today so not going anywhere but we are going out for tea tonight .
Enjoy your Storm day! Eva was really tired after the week-end. On Sunday we had both Bailey and Cooper here for the party (they were very good!) and Bailey stayed overnight so they had Monday together as well. Yesterday our next door neighbour called round to help OH take the gazebo down. He rang the doorbell - and nothing! Not a whisper from Eva. She was fast asleep in the garden. The neighbour was quite shocked because he's used to her greeting him by hurling herself at the front door.

It rained overnight here, and as you remarked Nan2, we felt the garden would be very glad.
Eva is all partied out Daisy š
Cheeky GS Oma!!
Yesterday I had a bacon sandwich for my tea which was what I fancied. That was the most I had eaten in one go for almost 2 weeks. Today I am fancying a slice of toast pork with apple sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, an Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire and a few carrots. OH will see to it!
Ginger Ale is my preferred drink atm.
Have a good day everyone and stay well.
One of OH's friends from the golf club and her husband both have Covid. It's on the rounds again I think.

Wet and dark here today, I hope it is fine Frid and Sat. Friday when the family arrive they are putting up small Marquees attached to the bungalow, I hope the children are here in time to help. GD2ās partner is very tall so he will be useful. Just a bit of dusting today, I have cleaned through this week and Friday I will change the bedding as GD1, her OH and baby H are sleeping in here. I am going through to the main bungalow. They will be able to put H to bed away from the noise and be in here if she wakes in the night.
Oma, that young man is definitely in for a slap and a cuddle. Have fun with Storm today.
Daisy, Eva must have been so tired after the socialising not to hear your neighbour. I hope your GD1 will be having more good days soon.
Nanto, it is nice to have a meal that you havenāt had to cook.
My DD has only one week to go before she retires, she will bre spending more time at the gym and child minding. Unfortunately she is not interested in gardening, at least I have 3 GC who are interested in their gardens and want to know more. Sil does it because it has to be done. I have to pace myself now.

Good Morning ladies its good to be back after a week away with DD.
The Hotel we stayed in had been taken over by a big Hotel Group and sadly it was not as good as our previous visits but it was ok and we had a good break away & met some nice people.
I have been washing & ironing holiday stuff and packed most of them away for next time just on the last whites at the minute so all done by tonight.
Whilst I was away DGS3 repainted my kitchen ceiling so its nice and bright he also regrouted the kitchen tiles what a difference it makes, he was busy in the garden as well as washing my car for me he is such a good boy.
Oliver has been well looked after by Jim he had made himself comfortable in his house on Monday evening when I came home he decided to stay at Jims he was fast asleep in his sink in the wetroom he decided to come home yesterday and made himself comfy on my bed for the day.
I hope everyone has had a good week I have caught up on the news this morning .
Wishing everyone a good day and will talk soon as I have sorted all my washing etc.
Daisy
Eva must have been exhausted , all that excitement together has worn her out š

My Nephew who is 27 ,Who I have had many a word with about Covid has it quite bad at the moment ,
This nephew refused all jabs ,argued it was only flu and wouldnāt wear a mask or take any precautions .
Now I donāt wish him unwell but just enough to realise what a fool he has been .
At the moment he has the cough ,aches, bad chest, bad headache and feels generally rotten and tired and been in bed three days , I wonder if he thinks itās all hype now .
Oma, I think people say it is like flu, have obviously never had flu. I was in bed for a week with flu some years ago. I hope he isnāt too poorly though.
Gemini, very pleased to hear the latest scan has reassured your DD3 that all is well
Lizzie, post when you can, I hope you have a lovely time. Good to have a change of scene. How are your friends going to manage with out you.
Glamm, I am sure Jim was pleased to have the company of Oliver.
