Gem, i could have done without the spider graphic.
Some things seen, can't be unseen.

Been a busy morning with visitors. Just as friends were leaving another of hubby's friends arrived.
Just as he was leaving, brother in law came.

Hubby gone down to the bungalow,i am going soon.
I've baked a rhubarb pie to take and got a carton of cream.

Its been a dull morning weatherwise, but the sun is out now.

Hope the cars pass the test ladies.
Gem, hope the move goes smoothly tomorrow.

Lizzie best to get it checked out, hope you get positive results.

It’s lovely and sunny here, Just down my 3 mile walk with the Norfolk Nordic Walking group. I started doing this the 21/07/21 it was advised by my physio to help strengthen the muscles in my lower back around the area of the spine arthritis. Nordic walking is better the tracking as it gives you a fully body workout.
Took awhile to master it as when tracking you have your poles in front of you, Norwalk they ware behind you giving a full body workout.

Nannycuyddles - Nordic walking seems very popular around here - and everyone says how beneficial it is.

Nanto - the best laid plans, eh! But you've had a lovely social time.

Plant - you must be pleased the garden is getting sorted out, and hopefully the young relative will be back.

Gem - I know what you mean about the skin thingies - and I can't remember what they're called either! How exciting for DD3 and her OH, finally moving into their new house.

Grauntie - can I come and join you for an olive feast? I love them too but OH doesn't. I'll bring DIL1 as well - she loves them.

Enfys - not long till the family arrives. I'm sorry you've had trouble logging in here. Is there anything we can do to help?

Glamm - you are having a busy time with new girlfriends to meet. I'd have loved to be at that Stones concert. Did you say it was at Anfield? Imagine the Kop rocking to Mick Jagger! How is your neighbour Jim these days?

My car passed its MOT - thank you to those who kept their fingers crossed for it. More about cars later, though!

Sorry about distressing the spider phobes amongst us

NnanyCuddles and Lizzie, I would like to try Nordic Walking.

              Well done to Daisy's car!

OH and I spent all afternoon helping DD3 and SIL. Whilst we were there they got the official confirmation that Exchange of Contracts had taken place and Completion was definitely tomorrow.
              Great relief all round
I am going over tomorrow morning with food for the moving helpers (DD will send me a shopping list) I will then bring their cat over here to be safe in our spare room when all the coming and going is happening.
I have GS1 after school so can't help much more tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. It's bright and sunny and I think it will be quite warm later.

Oma - I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day as well, so cheers! Are you looking for something specific at the garden centre?

Gem - best of luck to DD3 and her OH for today. I hope everything goes smoothly and she doesn't get exhausted. Moving house is hard work at any time, let alone when baby's due so soon. I'm sure her cat will be very glad to be at yours, and away from all the hectic activity. Have they got much to do on their new home?

It's knit and natter day for GD1 and me - if she's well enough I'll collect her and Cooper and bring them back here for the day. Otherwise I'll go over there and spend the day with her.

Daisy the garden has been neglected so I took a lot of plants out and now need to replace ,
I just haven’t had time or energy
Yesterday I set to and tidied , it’s only a postage stamp size. To be fair and only two small borders ,
One at the bottom is in shade so I’m just putting evergreen shrubs in there ,
The top one I have some Calla Lillies in and that’s about it ,
Hope GD is feeling ok today and she can go to yours for a change x

                          Nanto lovely graphic 😁

Good luck with the move today Gemini, I hope it all goes smoothly for them.

Daisy I hope your GD1 will be well enough for your knit and natter. The dogs will enjoy themselves.

Oma, have fun at the garden centre choosing new plants.

Oma, the love of a GC is something else, it is lovely that a young man can show his affection.
My car failed its MOT yesterday, they found a blister on one of the tyres, probably caused by the road conditions around here. I have to go back this morning to have a new one fitted. This afternoon I am having a jubilee tea with my Guiding friends.

                              Good morning everyone.

Have a nice Knit and Natter with GD Daisy.
Oma we have a lovely white cala lily which has lots of flowers on this year, and a new dark one, it looks black but I'm not sure if it is.

                              Moving day for DD3!
I will go over this morning with (bought) sandwiches etc for the moving crew, and will bring the cat and all her accoutrements back here!
GS1 from school later and all his usual routine.

                              Have a good Tuesday.

Gem we have two yellow one white and one a deep red , they doing good ,
We bought a few different plants rather than several of the same , but they didn’t have any shrubs in I liked ,
I did buy 6 small box hedges to go along the front of the boarder they should grow into a nice low edge around .

Plant shame about car failing but at least it’s just the tyre and nothing major that could cost a fortune to fix xx
