Very dull and overcast, not too warm. Sil has been up a ladder to pick the blue plums. DD is stoneing them to freeze them. The Victoria is not so loaded and not quite ripe yet.

Daisy, I hope you got off alright, bet the girls were excited.

Is your sister younger than you Gemini? Your time is taken up so much with your grandchildren.

Oma, You can’t wear a dress with the darts in the wrong place. Hope Mil is okay and not complaining too much.

Nanto, I like scampi, I must buy some.

Today was busier than i expected.

DS2 and his wife called in for ½ hour earlier. They were on their way to meet friends and going out for a meal.
Later DS1 and his x wife called in.They are still very good friends. I'm sure you get my drift.
BRO in law from the bungalow also came and stayed for an hour.

We had a bit of rain this morning, but after when the sun came out,it was quite warm.

      Daisy,hope you enjoyed your lunch.

Good morning. We've had a few short, sharp showers (say that when you've had a tipple) this morning.
Just seen the local weather forecast and there is an amber warning due to storm Florìs. Strong winds are on the way apparently.

I think it will be a quiet day as far as visitors go.

Dinner is potato and swede mash, veggies and mince and onion, which I had left from when I made some cottage pies and pastry pies. I froze it.

            Morning Nanto,Ladies.

            Nanto
The graphic fits the day , it's never stopped raining since last night and it's very dark out.

Hopefully a quiet day after all your visitors yesterday,

            Gem
Is it raining in your area? S won't get on the greens today I imagine.
Did your friend enjoy her tea with you😁

            Daisy
I think it's maybe wet where you are , I'm sure the girls will find plenty to do though,
A nice relaxing day with your feet up and a book xx

            Plant
Did SIL get many plums ? I bet they taste delicious.

GS came back from his boys holiday last night, he rang from the airport to say he will be over today,

Then we have to visit MIL.
We will ring the hospital before we set off as she has a cardiologist appointment sometimes today , they have arranged to take her down but as she's a in patient it could be anytime,
So no use going down if she's at the appointment, we will wait till she's been.

              Good morning everyone.

It's dark and rainy here Nan2.

I noticed that the adventure farm place which I take GS2 to most school holidays is closed today due to storm Floris.
I hope it doesn't affect where Daisy is.

MIL has been in hospital a while now hasn't she Oma?
Our friend did enjoy her tea thank you . She lives alone and her family are in London and France, so it's nice for her to have weekend plans sometimes

Aqua for me this morning, no other plans.

Good morning everyone, still dry and sunny here, a slight shower now and again during the nights. I don't know if storm Floris will hit us, I hope it doesn't hit the island that GD2 is on!

I have just postponed my week away, no way could I drive with the pain. A friend put my bike carrier on the car for me on Saturday, poor man, I will have to ask him to remove it for me!!

A friend told me to phone the medical insurance, they would find another doctor for me, but, my fysio knows my knee better than anyone does so I have messaged him to see if there is place for me before the 27th, otherwise I will have to wait!!

I hope that all goes well for your MIL Oma.

The young man that used to live on the corner, his partner gave birth the other day, he came to bring the card, such a proud father, Elisabeth. His partner comes from Poland so will miss her family.

I am going for a bike ride, I am fine cycling, it is just getting on and off that doesn't go as well as it should.

I have just read that we could get some wind later today but not the main storm.

Oh Lizzie, I do feel for you with your knee! I hope the storm misses you (and GD)

                    Good Monday morning, everyone

Storm Floris seems to be causing all sorts of trouble with so many things being cancelled. It's very windy here with rain showers. I have managed to read back and catch up with everyone, but we're off out in a few minutes so I'll keep this brief.

We had a lovely lunch at OH's brother's yesterday, and GD2 ate two plates full! I hope they don't think we're starving her!! We need to do a bit of shopping today, and then will see how the weather is. The girls are currently having a noisy, riotous game of Jengo.

The rain has stopped and its warmed up,but its very windy.

Daisy, GD2 must have enjoyed her dinner yesterday.
Hope you don't get anymore rain during your holiday.

MIL is doing well , they have finished intravenous antibiotics and Steroids,
She's been put on oral antibiotic just a short course as her infection markers are almost zero.
Only on a little oxygen now so they trying to ween her off ready for home.
Her Cardiology scan went well nothing to worry about, they will contact her by phone in another year.

Came out of the multi story car park and the wind caught me and I almost went face first,
B caught me just in time, I was right outside of A&E so I was near help if I did get hurt.

It's sunny but the wind is very strong, a few trees down and the garden is full of leaves and small twiggy branches.

Daisy, I hope the weather improves for you all but I am sure the girls are quite happy just being in different surroundings. Of course I hope the sun shines for you all.

Had my cleaner this morning so I couldn’t post earlier. Everything nice, clean and tidy. We have had so many blue plums off the first tree, DD has frozen some and made some crumbles. The victorias are not completely ripe yet. DD and Sil are in France next week on holiday, so I will have to keep an eye on them, although I will not be climbing a ladder, I will be just giving the tree a shake. I can’t remember if I have told you that GD, H and I are going on holiday to Devon in two weeks.

Nanto, I hope the weather your way hasn’t been too bad.

Lizzie, so sorry you have had to cancel your trip.

                            Plant,its sunny,but very windy.
Hope you have a lovely time in Devon.

I'm sure a good shake of the tree will bring the plums down if they are ripe.

                              Lizzie
Your right to delay your holiday if your knee is too painful to drive ,
Fingers crossed your Physio can help.

The girls sound like they are enjoying themselves 😁

The wind is getting stronger but it's warm.

I have just had a lovely piece of salmon with green beans and purple broccoli,
                              B had steak .

Thank goodness you were OK. You have worse up there than we do here.
We are having salmon for tea too

I didn't know about your holiday Plant, how lovely!

I hope you have all had a good day Daisy.

It's still wild and windy here, but sunny and as Oma said, warm.
