Most of the day spent in the garden sitting and watching H in the new childrens pool my DD and Sil have bought the GC. It was quite cool and lots of clouds this morning.

Oma, I am sure Storm would rather be with you and getting spoiled than on his own at home.

Daisy, are you home now? I am not sure how long you planning to be away.

We enjoyed our day in Wombwell, it made a nice change.

No plans for us. Hubby was supposed to go to the car boot sale with his brother, but for some reason its been cancelled.

Not making a Sunday dinner, we are having steak and onion pie, carrot/swede/ potato mash,veg and gravy.

A day out for us today. I will start a thread about it.
We are going to Diggerland near Castleford, then out to tea. This is family a trip . Belated birthday celebrations for my OH and SIL2's dad. Organised by DD2. As I say, I will write elsewhere about it. The sun is shining
We are in for good week of weather, if the forecast is to be believed.

Good morning, we haven't had the rain, another heatwave forecast for this coming week!

DS1 and family all arrived home yesterday, GD1 goes to Croatia on Wednesday with her BF, he is in France at the moment, flying back tomorrow, then when they arrive home DS1 and family are on their way to New York!. I can't keep up with them!

My knee is still the same , I try to cycle as much as I can, I can't do much else! I would love to get my windows done, but, keep telling myself it isn't wise.

On Wednesday I am going with another neighbour to see the baby of the young man that lived next to me for a few years, he and his partner moved to the other side of the village to a new apartment and their daughter was born a fortnight ago, Elisabeth, the young girl is Polish and has lived here quite a while now.

A nice change from a roast, shame about the car boot sale .

I've done everything that's needs doing a white wash in and then towels.

We are having brunch with DD,SIL,D&J this morning, GS and L are in Germany so two less today.

I have just put a little tub of treats in my bag for storm and my cup,

I always take my own cup, I can't hold those silly little cups with tiny handles,
Plus it's annoying having to constantly fill them up , they know me now so don't bring a cup 😁

Hello, everyone.

We got back from holiday yesterday afternoon. We've have a great time and loved spending the week with our GDs. The weather wasn't great, but only one day of rain. It was very windy all week.

I haven't had chance to read up on everything I've missed, but I will. It's nice to be back.

Welcome home Daisy,
Our lot go away on the 4th September to san Francisco,
SIL got a text last night to say the AB&B they had booked had cancelled,
So he had to scramble around to find something else at a extra cost of £600,
They have refunded his money but will take 14 days to clear. He's not happy.

We had a nice brunch this morning till just before we left , James had a funny turn ,

He was talking then just closed his eyes like he had fallen asleep,
We got him roused he said he was ok just a bit spaced out,

So i said to SIL he can't drive like that so SIL drove them home,
We took DD & Storm home as she had walked to the garden centre we were at,so she could get the car and go to theirs to pick SIL up.

It's only last year he had a mini stroke so hopefully they encourage him to go to the hospital.

Haven't heard anything yet so I assume DD&SIL still there.

Turned out to be very warm today. According to the forecast,there is more to come.

Had a couple of evening visitors. DS1 brought something for his dad to have a look at.
Bro in law from the bungalow came as well.

Hubby has been wanting to do it for the past few days, but it's too windy for spraying.

We had very good Diggerland day, then a carvery afterwards. It was a very hot day with little shade though!

Oma, I am fine, I sat down a couple of times to write a comment but was called to join the family in the garden. They had bought a larger pool for the GC and H was in having a great time. H managed to get her daddy to go in, it was very cold water. DD and Sil are on a ferry to their shared property in France for a week with GGD, GGS and their partners.
. When they come back next Mon, GGD, H and I go to Devon.

Oma, Sorry to hear about your friend, perhaps it was a warning, is he being treated for high BP? I wonder how you will find your Mil?

Gemini, Diggerland looked fun, S was having fun with her digger. I would imagine it is not quite your idea of fun for you but nice to watch the others.No plans for me.
