Morning Nanto
When your on a mission to do something Nanto you don't want to leave it do you.
We had Fish and chips on Tuesday we were too tired to cook, it makes a nice change , hope you enjoy yours.
Gem had them last night ,must be a good week for the chippy 😁
Daisy
I hope you slept well and feel less tired today, B said listen to your body if it starts to complain then rest ❤️

How disappointing for GS 2 but I bet he enjoyed himself nonetheless,
I was up very early this morning so I blitzed downstairs did two lots of washing and gave the sink a good clean and polish.
I then went around to the post box to post some cards.
GS 1 is coming for lunch and B has a scan this afternoon so while he is out I will hang some pictures in the bedroom that's if I can find the Command picture thingy's I bought .
I know I put them somewhere but where escapes me at the moment .
GS wants lamb chops with diced fried potatoes and broccoli,
Just as well I had lamb chops in the freezer, we took them out last night.
I have just got rid of the smell of Bs steak now I will have the smell of lamb , yuk
My virus seems to have reared it's ugly head again. SIL3 seems to be suffering from something similar, dragging on and coming and going. I have felt well for several days, so hopefully will again soon!
Today I really need to get a passport photo taken so I can renew mine. We will go to Tesco to use the photo machine (where I will of course hate every photo taken ) We need cat litter and the pet shop is next door to Tesco so it makes sense to do it all in one trip. I have offered to make some little cakes for the Mother's Day tea tomorrow (All my DDs are mums so it's not fair they do it all) No other plans today.

Oma, please say thank you to B - J says I need taking in hand and to do as I'm told. I've posted in YEO.
It's a lovely sunny day here, but I'm definitely not gardening today. We're going to ask DS2 to keep Eva until tomorrow - hoping I might feel a bit better.

GS came for lunch,
DD and Storm arrived before him but she didn't want lunch she had a big breakfast,
B went for his scan and I hoovered the stairs but I wasn't convinced the stair attachment on my hoover was working so I did what I used to do years ago I went over them again with a damp cloth ,
It's surprising how much you pick up with a damp cloth especially dog hair,
B back they said nothing nasty showing up they scanned all his organs so that's a relief , he just has to wait for the report ,
She said there was a lot of gas in his stomach still from the gastritis hopefully that will disperse in time.
It's gone from a lovely sunny morning to quite dull now .
Daisy take care and rest. I know you were prepared for side effects but it's not at all nice I'm sure xxx
Oma that must be a relief about B.
We have been a busy household today!
I had my passport photo taken, came home and applied for my passport online, made and iced a dozen chocolate and a dozen vanilla buns. We washed towels and dried them on the line, and OH gave the lawn its first cut of the year.
DD1 called to borrow our wheelbarrow and stayed for a cuppa and chat.
When we were out I bought moussaka for tea so it's just bunging that in the oven later and making a salad to go with it. Cake making is enough cooking for me today!

Oma, that's great news for B. I'm sure you must have been worried.
Gem, that was a busy day. I think baking is quite tiring anyway - I find it makes my shoulders ache - I really need lower work surfaces so usually end up using the kitchen table for any hand mixing, etc.
Nanto it clouded over a bit here as well, and the wind got up.
Plant, I think we miss Eva more than she misses us! The GDs sit for hours on the floor with her, cuddling her, she's got Cooper to play with - and his toys. She won't want to come home.

Gem,yesterday's baking sounds scrummy.
Did you bake them in the air fryer?
I've added a lemon drizzle cake mix to this week's asda order.
Its a while since we had one.
Daisy, hope you are OK.
Cheesy mash, chicken and bacon lattice pie, veg and gravy for dinner.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Morning Nanto
Lovely graphic ,
Happy mother's day to you too.
We out for Mother's day breakfast with the family this morning,
It's not a bad day sun is out but a bit windy.
Daisy

How was the Moussaka did you enjoy it ?
Are the cakes for today , I hope you have a lovely time although I'm sure you will🥰
Nan2, no I just did the buns in the oven. Dinner sounds nice
Oma, yes DD2 is hosting a Mothers Day afternoon tea, so I thought I would contribute
I hope you have a lovely breakfast.
Daisy it must help to know Eva is happy. How are you feeling today?
We are due at DD2's round 2.30. All DDs and GC are due to be there which will be lovely. GS1 didn't make it here on Boxing Day nor to his Grandpa's 70th birthday meal in February when they all could have been together, so it's a long time since they have all been together.
Lovely bright and sunny morning here, if windy.
