Good Thursday morning, everyone.

I haven't had chance to read posts for a couple of days but I'll enjoy catching up when we're back home. The weather's not great but we're enjoying ourselves. Yesterday we went to Portmeirion. Today we going to Conwy and Anglesey so another full day.

Going to pop to Aldi this morning but nothing else planned,
B's oldest sister is going to see MIL today we will go tomorrow,
I've done a white wash , it's on the line but it's very damp still so see if it dries.

I have a cold My third this summer.

Little E has an appointment at the eye clinic at the hospital this morning. I will meet DD3 nearby to pick him up after that, then his usual day here.
DD1 has a couple of appointments this morning so GS1 is coming here for a couple of hours. They are on the way.
Away golf day for OH.

Daisy, Loved Portmeirion (sp), we were lucky to visit in the sunshine.

Oma, you were right,we did get a visitor this morning. Nephew popped in for an hour.

Asda delivery arrived 15 minutes early this morning,but it wasn't a problem.

We had a heavy shower about 12ish,but then the sun came out. It was quite warm this afternoon.

Hubby out for his Friday meet up with his pal this morning.

Upstairs cleaning for me.

I haven't taken anything out of the freezer for dinner, so I think it will be egg, chips and peas or beans for dinner.

Few things to do this morning,
Need to send a parcel back, had a right faff yesterday trying to get the QR code ,
Wouldn't accept my email address then the parcel number wasn't recognised then after several attempts it finally accepted them only for the returns QR wouldn't open,or print off.
I have a number so they say just use that,
We will see what happens when I go to the post office

From there I have to go to Aldi , MIL wants another beef sandwich,
I have cake and biscuits for her so will take them in after lunch.

Thought she might get out today but her ankles are swollen and some fluid building up in her lungs, so till that's drained she's staying in,
Apart from that she's doing great.

Oma, E does look adorable in his glasses! Just a check up to see both eyes are working. Apparently in these cases sometimes one eye 'gives up' and let's the other do all the work All going ok in his case.
His cousin GS1 was with me in the car when I met him in the car park, he was very excited to see him!
What a faff with the parcel!

Cold not too bad today thank you Nan2, hopefully not too bad a one this time.

Reflexology for me this morning.
Then we are meeting friends for lunch. They have moved near Scarborough. We are going to see the new house then lunch at a cafe. Yesterday I thought I would have to cancel, but my cold is improved not worse this morning.

The sun is shining here. I hope it is for you, especially Daisy.

Gem, glad you felt better for having been in the fresh air.

We are going to Wombwell (pronounced Wumwell). It's only about five miles away,but we haven't been for donkeys years.
Both of us looking forward to it, will make a change.

Sunny here too. I have heard of Wombwell but don't think I have ever been Nan2.

We saw our friends' new house yesterday - a very smart new build. We met up with another mutual friend who lives nearby and we all went out for nice lunch. Then the friends we were visiting drove us into Scarborough where we had a walk, went down the cliff lift for an ice cream (and back up again!) A very nice day.

I'm not sure if the Daisies travel home today, but wishing them a safe journey if so.

We were out yesterday and will be out again tomorrow, so a quiet day for us today

MIL bleats about going into hospital but always enjoys being in, 3 meals a day lots of company,
This is why we think a home would be good for her.

We had Storm from 6-11 last night , DD went out to her friends for a meal and SIL was out with his friends ,
So I said bring him over better he gets spoilt here than being on his own😁
They are walking over this morning but we have huge black clouds so I think we are in for a downpour,
We must be getting rain the window cleaner has just turned up 🫣

We went to Farm foods this morning, I wanted to see what they had in then to the Asda garage on the way back , I needed milk I went to use ours for my fibre bran this morning and it was off, so I ended up with toast.
We don't use milk apart from me on cereal so never think of checking the date , I forget it's there.
Mental note check in future.
