Hallo everyone, a quick catch up! Daisy, I do hope that you have a lovely holiday with the GD's.

    Gem, enjoy the theatre tonight.

I have been for treatment this morning etc, in-between showers I biked to the next village this afternoon, I met one of the friends from gym, we stood talking so long that I couldn't get back on my bike!!! I do hope that what they are going to do in a few weeks helps, I feel like an invalid! I have booked to go away in 2 weeks time, I am wondering whether it is the right thing to do, will I be OK driving such a way etc?? I will have to decide

I got a message from DS1, they have arrived on the island, it is one where no cars are allowed so they leave their car by the ferry terminal.

I have had chicken etc in the slow cooker so an easy meal.

      Same goes for me Gem.

Well its been like winter here, it has for me anyway. Hubby says it hasn't been bad.

Daisy, in case you don't get on here in the morning, i'm wishing all of you a lovely holiday.

Hello everyone. I nearly made it to Chat earlier today, but OH called me for lunch!

I'll catch up with everybody - always providing there is a decent signal at the camp site. It's been a week of getting further and further behind with jobs - mainly because I didn't feel well on Monday and the washing machine was out of action until yesterday morning. I'd just got one load out when we had one of the heaviest downpours of rain I've ever seen! So I ended up putting it out this morning, before going to the hospital. My appointment was 8.30, but I had to wait nearly 1 ½ hrs because my prescription for the injection hadn't been signed (Doctors' strike). Then I had to wait again for the injection to be brought up from the pharmacy. I'd have happily gone and got it myself but assumed there would be other patients also waiting for meds to be delivered. So we didn't get home until gone 11, instead of 9.30-ish.

Anyway, I got everything dry, ironed and have packed. Just toiletries, tech stuff and art materials to do now. It looks as though we will be in the path of the bad weather forecast for Monday, so probably a day to see what the camp site has to offer.

We'll make sure we enjoy it, whatever. OH's brother and his wife have invited us for Sunday lunch, but no other firm plans - we'll see how each day goes.

Thank you all for your good wishes, in case I don't have chance to say that tomorrow. xxx

          Good morning.

Daisy, what a day you had yesterday.
Hope you have a relaxing holiday.

We aren't going out today, hubby wants to do a couple of outside jobs while it's dry.
          There's nothing we need.

Hubby will have a chicken tikka ready meal, I'll probably have a cheese omelette.

Nothing else to report, I'll check in̈ again later.

                Good morning ladies.

Daisy , wishing you a very happy holiday with your GDs

Nan2, it was very chilly here yesterday too, the sun is out this morning so it may be warmer.

Oma since our window cleaner came the other day our inside ones need doing too!

Lizzie, I hope you will be OK to go away.

My friend and I really enjoyed the play last night. It's a touring production with good sets and costumes.

No plans today. I need to pick up my repeat prescription ( exciting) and OH was talking about cutting the hedge.
I think we may go to the flower meadow this afternoon. This is in our village. Its the first year it has happened. You can pick and buy flowers and get a cuppa.

Gemini, It is a long time since I went to our local theatre. Must look to see what is on.

Nanto, I quite like Chicken Tikka. I am having omlette later.

I am going out to a garden centre for lunch with. GD and H.

Plant, hope you enjoyed your lunch out.

We ended up going out this morning.
But only up to Farmfoods as i needed some eggs.
Its only up the road,so we walked up, got us a bit of exercise.
I also bought a black forest gataeu, we haven't had on for years.

The weather has been sunny and warm, spent all afternoon sat in the garden.

Good morning. Bright outside this morning.

Hubby and brother were supposed to have gone to a car boot this morning, but it was cancelled due to a bad weather forecast.
I thought it was tomorrow when its bad weather. We shall see.

No plans for today as yet.

Salad for dinner. We have some coleslaw and cucumber to use up, and the tomatoes are ripening thick and fast. Will air fry some scampi to go with it.

                        Have a good day ladies.

                          Good morning ladies.

Nan2, I think we are forecast some bad weather today. It's cloudy this morning but nothing apart from that yet.

Golf for OH with two friends. A friend is joining us for tea tonight. She will come round at some point this afternoon.

I hope Daisy has a good Sunday lunch with their friends, and great holiday
                          Happy Sunday everyone!

                            Morning ladies
                            It's drizzly and dark here,

I hope Daisy has a very relaxing holiday and enjoys lunch out,
Nice when someone else cooks it isn't it.

                            Gem
I have been meaning to ask how was your sister the last time you saw her , I hope she is still happy where she is , one less thing to worry about when she's been well cared for,

I've done two loads of washing and just a general tidy round , I will iron after lunch.

I have to take a dress back to Sainsbury's this morning a nice fit but the bust darts line are too low making the dress not hang right, they are practically on the waist .
Shame as it's a lovely dress.

I have updated on Hospital mistakes

Really dark and drizzly and miserable here Oma!
I think it's due to stop before OH gets on to the course later.
My sister was fine last time I saw her thanks . They have recently said she was having a few problems with her mobility though (maybe arthritis) so were going to try her with the wheelchair more. She hasn't needed one apart from on longer trips out before. I must get over to see her. Its not too far, maybe half an hours drive, but I would go more often if she were local (or cared whether we go or not!)

A very quick Good Sunday morning to everyone.

we are finally on holiday! And it's raining. The caravan is huge, and so is the site. We're going to OH's brothers for lunch and have had a lazy relaxing morning.

I haven't had chance to catch up with everyone so I hope you're all ok. Xx
