    Good Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, hello to your cute little friend in the tea cup. Enjoy your chicken dinner today. If you've got our lovely sunshine today I'm sure your towels will dry.

Gem, I'm sure the couple didn't realise that fires are illegal and potentially devastating. Has your friend has any more news about her car yet? I hope the sun's shining for you as well for your trip to the nature reserve.

Oma, I suppose we all have odd little sleep habits, but I'm glad you escaped without serious injury last night. My OH has a habit of rolling himself up in the duvet, leaving me freezing cold.

It's a good drying day today, and I've just put a load of bedding out. The lawn looks as though it's never been cut - the sunshine and showers are making it grow very quickly, but at least it's green again. No particular plans for this afternoon, but it would be nice to get some gardening done.

Daisy I hope your washing dried, ours did

Oh dear Oma, I bet B felt terrible about that!

I have had a lovely day.
Our regular Monday aqua instructor had to stand in for the one who normally takes the baby classes which run in the toddler pool at the same time as our class ( We can see it from our pool and I am often distracted watching cute babies being carried in ) The lady who stood in to take us did a really fun class. I loved it and wished she was our regular! She does a regular Thursday evening class, which I am now tempted to try sometime - if I have any energy after looking after little E all day!

This afternoon we went to the nature reserve and we saw the kingfisher!! I was so happy as I have never seen one. Without OH's binoculars I would have struggled to recognise or even see it. Why do they have to be so small??!! It was beautiful though and we spent a lot of time looking at it.
We took a flask and biscuits and had a cuppa by the lake.

Gem, glad you enjoyed aqua, and lovely to see the kingfisher.

Daisy, we njoed our chicken dinner. DS1 said he might call on his way home from work.
So i plated an extra dinner for him. he didn't get chance to call,so i put it in the freezer.
I'll have sometime when hubby has a chicken tikka.

          Good morning.

Plans for today, I'm going into town with hubby when he goes to meet his pal.
I don't need much, but just fancy going out for a couple of hours.

We have some chicken left from yesterday, so that's dinner with some chips and beans.

            Morning Nanto, Ladies.

            Nanto
At least you have a dinner ready when hubby has his curry,
            Enjoy your day in town.

            Gem
How lovely to see the kingfisher , I would love to see one for real,
They are tiny though aren't they,
I read they are the only bird that can fly backwards.

            Daisy
A disaster if you hadn't spotted them building a fire,
I'm glad they took your advice I bet there are plenty who don't,
That's how forest fires start carelessness.

GS came for breakfast yesterday before driving back to Leeds ,
I have told him he doesn't have to come over every time he's home but he said he couldn't go back not seeing us, I'm sure he thinks we are so old and decrepit that we are going to kick the bucket 😁

We off to the shopping mall this morning,
I need some new cardigans, preferably long line ones,
Trouble is I don't like pockets and long line ones all seem to come with those or dropped shoulders and I hate them.

Im not fat just 6ft too small

              Good morning ladies.

Nan2, nice to get out for a bit when the weather is good.

Oma, it's funny because until fairly recently I thought a kingfisher was at least pigeon sized They are indeed tiny.
Aww, GS1 loves to see you both

Library morning for me, then I am meeting a friend for an early tea at 5.30.
Golf for OH and a lovely bright sunny morning here.

                Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Nanto good morning as well to your two cute friends, chirping away. Enjoy your shopping.

Oma, the couple in the Forest were using come kind of container, but it's still dangerous. I know there are other people in the village who've intervened when visitors have been doing dangerous things, like petting or feeding the ponies, and all they get is foul-mouthed abuse and aggression. . I hope you find the cardigans you like. I prefer to have pockets - even if it's only to tuck a hankie in. Are there any particular colours you'd like? GS just enjoys seeing you, I'm sure. I hope he enjoys his last year at Uni. It goes so quickly, doesn't it.

Gem, what a thrill to see a kingfisher. I've only ever seen one, and that was because a bird watcher with binoculars pointed it out to me. A pigeon-sized kingfisher would be much easier to spot. There's a bird photographer on a photographic group I belong to and he takes the most amazing Kingfisher photos. He must have endless patience and lightning fast reactions. Enjoy your busy day.

It's bright and sunny here, and not too cold. We're going shopping this morning. I need quite a few birthday, etc cards for October, and already need a diary for next year. I'd like some low boots for the winter - the ones I've got are very shabby and some new lipsticks. We're going to take Eva, because we want to get her a doughnut-shaped bed for the winter as we think it will be warmer for her than her current flat one, and she's very happy to try them out in the shop! Then we'll probably call round to DS2's for a cuppa.

                Have a good day, everyone.

I'm sure Eva will pick the perfect one ,
There are so many to choose from but being a bigger dog it has to be the right size doesn't it😁

Enjoy tea out , hope S has a good round of golf this morning, it's not too cold either.

Well I went to a few shops but didn't find any cardigans but I did buy a nice dress from Bon march and a pair of sparkly snowflakes earrings for Xmas day 😁

We went to Sainsbury's for vanilla yoghurts and some bits then over to M&S
Looked in their clothes department no long cardigans there so I think it will be online shopping for me.

I enjoyed my jaunt into town. It was quite nippy when we went out,but it did warm up.
When we got home, it warm enough to sit in the garden with a coffee.
i didn't buy much in town, just a few wax melts, a couple oc scented candles and a couple of reed diffusers.
