Good morning. It's a lot calmer this morning.
Fortunately we have no damage from yesterday's wind.
Just a bit of rubbish to clear up that's landed in our garden.

I'm going into town with hubby. We'll go our separate ways when hubby meets his pal.
There's nothing I need really, but it will break the week up, with us not going out last Saturday.
I daresay I'll buy something.

Good Tuesday morning. Gloria is still with us. But at least it's not raining. The girls are going for a swim and then we're off to Llandudno for the day.

Morning ladies
Still a bit windy but warm,
Had a busy morning had to have someone out to reattach some trim that came away from the top of our patio doors outside,
It was flapping about yesterday hanging on by a thread, so we were hoping it didn't come off completely and fly away as we knew man was coming this morning,
Anyway he came just after 8 and sorted it , not a big job but I wouldn't let B get the step ladders out and I can't stand on them these days ,

B then wanted to go to mountain warehouse to look at t-shirts, didn't like any , so went to Matalan as they are all on the same site, still nothing , we then went to Home bargains for some biscuits MIL wanted from there.

I have a checkup at the dentist this afternoon so while I am in there B will look in a few shops in the shopping mall.

Cleaner came yesterday so I am nice and tidy and clean. DD and Sil off to Normandy on Monday and GD, H and I are booked to go to Devon for a week the following week. Dil just phoned, she is popping in to see me so I will try and pop back later.

Enjoyed my stroll round town. i didn't buy much.
I wanted a silicone potato masher,i've got two,but they are both metal.
Got one in Poundland,surprisingly for a £1. Not many things in there now for a pound.

Hubby has pulled a load of rhubarb. Anyway its washed cut up and in the freezer.
He doesn't think there will be anymore now this year.

Oma, we have got an electric but only seem to use it when we are slicing a joint.

Plant, it sounds like you are looking forward to going to Devon.

Dentist wasn't too expensive, only checkup fee, didn't need any treatment,
Said don't need to see her for 9 months then we may discuss having a bridge put in where I have the one false tooth, said it would be better but to let my gum really garden first ,
It will be £329 but means I don't have to faff on with a false tooth.

She suggested I get a saliva spray as my mouth is very dry, I called into boots but they didn't have any so I will try the small chemist by our Drs.

Good morning. Calm this morning after the past two windy days.

Oma, glad the dentist wasn't too expensive.

Nothing much happening here today.
My first job is cleaning the fridge, ready for tomorrow's Asda delivery. Tidied all the drawers in both freezers yesterday.

Beef stew for dinner, took it out of the freezer yesterday. Will probably have a savoury pancake with it.

We sorted our freezer and tidied the drawers yesterday as well,
It's surprising what you find isn't it 😁

It's a nice morning still a bit of a breeze but not bad,
The garden is a mess , at some point we must get all the leaves and twigs up.

Gas service this morning anytime between 8-12 so I was up early so I could get round with a duster and have the quickest shower just incase he came at 8 , known us he will be nearer lunch time,
I wish they would give a definite time , I asked last time and they said some jobs take longer than others so don't give a set time incase this happens, fair enough I suppose.

I have a load of envelopes with seeds in for my DD , Bs sister has a huge garden and lots of different flowers ,
She saves the seeds so collected lots for DD . I will take them after lunch.

Oma, i didn't find any surprises in either freezer, but when the drawers are tidy,it makes a bit more room.
And, i have a couple of bags of frozen veg coming tomorrow in the Asda order.
Hope the gas service man has been.

Dil, stayed for quite some time so didn’t get back on here. Just got back from games afternoon, we had food again. They finished up with a bingo session, not my scene but happy to join in.

I hope this sunshine we have had today reaches the Daisy family, not sure how long they have gone for.

Nanto, I could do with sorting out my two freezers, just small ones. Years ago we had a large chest freezer but that was when we grew lots of veg and fruit.

Oma, well done with getting away from the dentist without having a big bill. I presume it is easier to look after Mil whilst she is in hospital but I suppose she is eager to get home.

GS called in for lunch he came home from a boys holiday in Greece on Sunday,
he's off to Germany on Friday with Lucie's family then home for two weeks and then off to New York with Lucie DD&SIL.
Three holidays in two months 😁
