Oma, I hope MIL was in a good mood today.

Gem, it takes time to take on board all the medical information. I hope S felt like going out later, especially if it's a nice sunny day.

Plant, there were blue skies and a few white fluffy clouds as I drove across the Forest to the coast. As I got there the sun disappeared behind heavy clouds. Still a nice view across the Solent, but it always looks better in sunshine.

It was lovely to see 3 of my College friends today. We spent nearly 3 hours putting the world to rights over lunch, and I also literally ran into an artist friend who I haven't seen for ages. OH was quite worried about me driving - it's only a half-hour journey - but he's been kind enough to drive me everywhere since March. I was fine and felt perfectly ok behind the wheel. But I am quite tired now, but not 'worn out' tired like I have been some days. I think I need a quiet evening! It started to rain just as I got back home - good timing.

Plant, it wasn't really about getting news as such at today's appointment as we already know everything there is to know. It was about the treatment plan. I will update on YEO tomorrow .
      We like omelette!

Daisy,I'm so pleased you managed your day out and enjoyed it.

We have pottered around in the garden this afternoon, and have decided to go out to eat this evening.
Only a short drive away , we have booked a table.
We were originally eating out tonight with our group of friends for a birthday. The birthday girl is one of the couple who are splitting up, so she cancelled our night out.

Oma, what a difference it makes when MIL is happy. Yes, I enjoyed going out today and the golf club wasn't busy so it wasn't as noisy as it is sometimes. Quite a lot of people were sitting outside which helped.

Gem, what a good idea to go out tonight. I hope you had a good meal. xxx

            Good morning.

Daisy, glad you had a good meet up with your college friends.

Oma, wow,MIL in a happy mood. Hope she enjoyed her lamb dinner.

Yesterday turned into a busy day. After the Asda delivery I made some crumbles and chips for the freezer.
Nephew and his wife called in and stayed for an hour.
After dinner one of the neighbours came and asked hubby for a hand with something , so we were there for a couple of hours.

No plans for today apart from making a couple of corned beef and onion pies for the freezer.
Hubby will be out for a couple of hours with his pal.

              Good morning everyone.
              A sunny one here.

We did enjoy the meal last night. Then we drove down a quiet side road where we have occasionally seen a fox before. We parked up and waited and saw at least seven!
We then went home and sat in the garden with gin and tonics. We switched on the coloured lights we bought last year. OH fixed them all up yesterday in her flurry of doing things before she doesn't feel up to them!

GS2 will be here today. We don't have any plans as such. I do need to go into the village to collect GS3's dinosaur balloon for his party tomorrow .
              Golf for OH.

                Morning ladies
Nice and sunny for us too Gem,
I bet S is making lists of jobs to get done before her treatment starts.

Dog day today so I was up early cooking his chicken and rice and getting housework done,
I still need to get the plants in they are sitting on my boarder still in the pots,
Every time I was going to do it something cropped up or we had to go out, so that's a job for today.

I hope everyone is well today .

                  Good Friday morning, everyone.

Nanto, it's surprising how often a quiet day turns into a busy day, isn't it. At least you'll catch up on your batch cooking today.

Gem, that sound like just the sort of evening you needed - a good meal and couple of G & Ts, plus relaxing in your garden with soft lights. It's a nice day for golf as well. Is it a competition? I bet GS3 is excited about his party tomorrow, and GS2 will love being withyou to collect little E's birthday balloon.

Oma, Enjoy our gardening. It's lovely to get some new plants in. I hope it's not too warm for Storm.

Some gardening jobs for us today, plus odd jobs around the house. I'm starting to think about what to take on holiday, and need to do some washing.

Have a nice doggy day Oma

Daisy no competition at golf today. Just the weekly Roll Up game which is normally Thursday, unless there's something else on at the club on Thursday, as there was yesterday.
                    Exciting thinking about your holiday!

GS2 is playing on his Switch for a while. Later we will go into the village, and he wants to make a picture for his little cousin's party .
                    Bedding is on the line.

Gemini, Exciting time tomorrow for GS3’s birthday. How kind of GS2 to make him a picture. How lovely to see all those foxes.

Daisy Nice and sunny day here for gardening, hope it is the same for you. Holiday getting closer, are the girls getting excited? Well done for meeting up with your friends.

Oma, I hope you get your new plants in soon but they will not spoil in the pots. Pleased you found Mil in a happy mood.

Nanto, I wish you would come and feed my freezer with your yummy meals. I haven’t had corned beef for years, must put it on my shopping list.

I was supposed to be at JL this morning with GD and H but discovered we didn’t have a car seat for H. DD was out and Sil also and he had all the car seats. The one I bought for H for my car is now with GS’s family for their 1 year old as the mice ate one of theirs. I know they are necessary but I wish the family would leave one in my car or in the garage. With another baby on the way there will be another seat in the equation. A bit cross…..yes

Plant, yes, it's a lovely day here - warm sunshine but a bit of a breeze as well. The girls are beyond excited, especially GD2 who is still bouncing off the ceiling. What a nuisance about the car seats. As. you say, they are in high demand in your ever-growing family of GGCs. I kept a fixed car seat in my car for our GDs, and a booster seat when they got to that stage. It saved a lot of hassle. Corned beef is tasty, isn't it. I keep a couple of tins in the cupboard and make corned beef hash sometimes, or even use it in a sandwich.

Gem, your GS2 is a sweet-heart wanting to make a picture for his little cousin's party tomorrow.

We've picked the plums off one of the trees today - it's called Belle de Louvain, which I'd never heard of, but the nursery said it could grow in semi-shade. This is its 3rd season and the first time it's fruited properly, but they were definitely worth waiting for - lovely large sweet and juicy fruit with very little damage from insects/birds. We picked nearly 3 kilos. The tree that broke - Victoria - has still got lots of fruit in the lower half and they are starting to ripen. I hope they don't reach their best while we're away.

Daisy, thats a good haul of plums. You're certainly doing well with them this year.

Plant, what a shame you had'nt got the car seat.

We've had visitors this afternoon, and the world has been put to rights.

Daisy our over the road neighbours had a plum tree and they would put out a box of them and a box for donations for charity. We love them and bought some every year.

Very hot here and GS2 wanted sausage and mash for tea, so I'm hot from cooking!
