    Daisy
You have maybe overdone things yesterday, you need to be kinder to yourself 💖
Daisy I think it's a routine I have that I don't seem to be able to break,
Although some jobs do take me all day the older I am getting .

    Plant
Hope you had a nice lunch
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Nice lunch with friends in village hall, food provided by Cook, there must have been 10 tables of eight people. Two of the husbands go and collect it from Cook. It is heated and served in the village hall. We pay for it and the money goes to chosen charities.
Lovely experience yesterday. GD2 was lying on my settee and the baby was moving, H thought it was lovely to feel the baby moving.

Daisy, perhaps you overdid things, take things easy so you can be fit for your holiday.

Plant, the lunches sound like a very sociable and enjoyable time, and you don't have to cook tonight. I can just imagine little H's face when she felt the baby moving. I'm trying not to overdo things, but I'd like to leave the house clean and tidy when we go away.

Oma, routine is what I'm lacking, so don't be in a hurry to break yours. It serves you well.

Nanto, thank you for your kind thoughts. GS1 is at work today, but his Mum has invited the local grandparents round for cake etc when he gets home.

I've had a fairly lazy day, but I did some ironing and swept up part of the patio. Then the wind got up and it was blowing everything back so I gave up.

          Good afternoon everyone.

Daisy, it's horrible being sick and you feel so weak afterwards. I hope it was a one off and you soon feel much better xx
We don't go to Aldi often we we see it as a bit of a novelty No coffee out but we came home and had tea and biscuits and watched a programme we had recorded.

          Your dinner sounds nice Nan2.

Plant a nice lunch out for you and a lovely experience with the baby yesterday

          Your family get about Lizzie!

Our window cleaner came today and I got him to give the conservatory its annual cleaning!! We only have it done once, possibly twice a year as I figure no one sees it all through winter. OH wouldn't have it done at all. We do give the window sills a quick brush and wipe over at other times, but don't think it's worth paying extra to have to cleaned throughout winter.

Gem, yes thanks, I feel a lot better, although I don't fancy eating. I only had a small jacket potato for dinner and that was more than enough. It always takes me a few days to get my appetite back.

I used to get our window cleaner to do he greenhouse for me a couple of times a year. It was well worth it.

                  Good morning Ladies.

Nan2, when I was awake reading in bed earlier I could see the sun streaming in. Now cloudy here as well.

Library for me this morning then meeting my 'school friends' C and C, for lunch. It's always a long chatty one!
No golf for OH. She will be at the golf club though, helping to man the halfway house for a big competition.

I hope everyone is feeling well today.

                    Nanto
                    My kind of lunch ,
Hope you get the lawn mowed,
It's a lovely sunny morning here.

Well yesterday didn't go to plan.
MIl wasn't feeling great when Bs sister was there yesterday morning but wouldn't let her ring the Dr.
Anyway she hadn't been gone 30 minutes when his mam rang saying help me help me I'm ill.
It was 11.30 just sat down to a cup of tea so we dropped everything and raced over in record time.
She couldn't breath so we rang 111 they sent a ambulance on blue lights only took 15 minutes.
I went on the ambulance and B followed down ,
They put her on a nebuliser and oxygen before we left home,
She was much better by time we got there,
They would only let one in with her so B sat in the waiting room.
After about a hour I told him to go back home as he couldn't do anything and we didn't know how long we would wait for a Dr,
She had bloods taken a ECG and 15 minutes observation, in resus.
After 2 hours she was moved to another area as they needed the bed and waited for x-ray and Dr.

By 8 pm still no sign of the Dr so I had to ring B to come pick me up , I had to leave her,I hadn't even had a drink since my breakfast and it was way past my insulin time.
Dr didn't come till 10.30 then they took her for a x-ray and up to a ward at 1.30am.

She has another slight chesty infection so on antibiotics and steroids again.
But she isn't helping herself she's smoking again , then she informed us she's also using nicotine patches so getting a double whammy of nicotine,
With COPD as bad as it is it's no wonder she's got another infection.

She won't tell us who is buying her cigarettes for her it's none of us so lord knows who she's asking.

I'm shattered today I fell into bed last night just drained ,
She was hard work embarrassing and demanding,

Asked the young paramedic Infront of all the nurses was she a lesbian because she looked liked one,
I said so what does one look like? I said even if she was it has nothing to do with you.I don't know but she looks like one ,
I had to apologise to the girl she just laughed it off but it wasn't right.
Then a young black man was mopping up a spill at full volume she said they don't do that right he doesn't know how to mop but I suppose when you live in a mud hut in his country you don't need a mop😱

I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me,

I had to stop her , she said your always telling me off , I said well if you stopped being nasty I wouldn't have to.
                    😡

Goodness Oma, how do you cope with her, she is really nasty with people who are trying to look after her.

Hallo, Oma, I don't think your MIL can cope for much longer living on her own, whether or not she wants to is another question!

She is hard work and although we are used to her and we think nothing suprise's us now, she will then come up with things like this that just floors us .
Be grateful there are people who are there to look after you .

                            Lizzie
We have had the conversation so many times , she keeps saying she is not ready yet for any kind of care home, and we can't force her,
But it's a worry when she's on her own, as nasty as she is at times we don't want her hurting herself or be ill when she's alone.
To be honest I would pity any staff having to deal with her on a daily basis.

MIL as charming as ever Oma.

We got all done what we wanted to do in the garden.
It was quite warm at times when the sun came out.

                              Gem, hope you enjoyed lunch.

Oma, hopefully people will make allowances for MIL's generation and age. It is still no excuse though and most embarrassing for you.

I hope you are feeling OK today Daisy.

We had a nice lunch and good catch up thank you Nan2.
                                We enjoy meeting up.

OH brought some cakes back from the halfway house, so that's pudding sorted out!
