Hallo everyone, after being ill a few days from the allergic reaction I am actually feeling better, if it wasn't for a headache, I blame that on the tablets I had to take.
Oma, you do right to buy the plants, I wouldn't know where to put them! I need to get rid of some at the moment.
About the sauerkraut, I have never seen it in jars here, if we get it at the supermarket it is always in a plastic package, the best is buying it freshly made, but, to be honest my neighbour M makes the best I have tasted in years. The same with her red cabbage that is fermented in the same way.
We haven't had the rain as yet, one shower early on this morning.
I went to the supermarket in the next village yesterday to see GD2 working, she was on the cash desk and loving it!!

We sometimes get it in the plastic bags in Lidl but not often they have it in,
We love red cabbage too,
B makes a lovely red cabbage with apple yummy,
Sorry to hear that allergic reaction made you feel poorly , thank goodness your feeling better now.
I'm pleased GD is enjoying her job always lovely to see them settled isn't it.
Nanto
I only have two small narrow boarder,
The one at the bottom of the garden doesn't get much sun so I'm just filling that wish shade loving shrubs ,
The top boarder I have graveled and put pots on , mostly fuchsia's ,
I got sick of spending a fortune on bedding plants only to be eaten by the snails and tree spiders.
Fuchsia seem to be immune to them ๐Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, it is just a few hours a week for GD2, she still has her school!
I don't know if you know but we have wolves here and they are protected! I was reading the other day that a pony and some sheep have been attacked, only this morning a lady was out walking her dog and a wolf snatched the dog, it only let go when the lady went screaming after it, the dog is in a bad state of course. So many people are complaining, they are not in this area, as yet, but it is worrying.
Wolves are protected in the Netherlands under European law, primarily due to their status as a protected species under the European Union's Habitats Directive. This protection aims to conserve biodiversity and promote the natural return of wolves to areas where they were previously absent, like the Netherlands. The reintroduction of wolves, even with potential conflicts, is seen as beneficial for the ecosystem.

Nanto, well done, puts me to shame.
Oma, All this talk about sauerkraut makes me want to try it again. Good luck with the plants. Fushia is one of my favourite plants. Pleased to hear about Bโs bloods.
Lizzie, I donโt think I would like Wolves nearby. We back onto woodland so we do get foxes.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

That's scary, it's all well and good introducing them but when they are a danger you wonder what these people are thinking about .

A productive day for you even though it was a go with the flow day๐

Good evening!
Such a waste of appointment time Oma as you say. My OH had phone appointments for many years and we were glad.
Gosh Lizzie, no I didn't realise you had wolves there. As a child I was terrified of wolves, probably due to fairy tales. When my mum realised how frightened I was she assured me there were definitely no wolves in England and I felt better!
You were busy Nan2.
Daisy my opticians appointment is well overdue and I keep getting reminders!
It was good to have our regular Wednesday aquafit instructor back (she had a week off last week) The young girl who took us last week ran what I described as Aqua for 90 year olds. 90 years old who never done any exercise before at that!!
My friend and I had a nice lunch and long chat. She's sad and a bit worried about starting out alone again at 70, but accepts it wasn't working and is the only way for them both.โA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.โ โ Unknown
