Hallo everyone, after being ill a few days from the allergic reaction I am actually feeling better, if it wasn't for a headache, I blame that on the tablets I had to take.

Oma, you do right to buy the plants, I wouldn't know where to put them! I need to get rid of some at the moment.

      About the sauerkraut,
I have never seen it in jars here, if we get it at the supermarket it is always in a plastic package, the best is buying it freshly made, but, to be honest my neighbour M makes the best I have tasted in years. The same with her red cabbage that is fermented in the same way.

We haven't had the rain as yet, one shower early on this morning.

I went to the supermarket in the next village yesterday to see GD2 working, she was on the cash desk and loving it!!

We sometimes get it in the plastic bags in Lidl but not often they have it in,
        We love red cabbage too,
B makes a lovely red cabbage with apple yummy,

Sorry to hear that allergic reaction made you feel poorly , thank goodness your feeling better now.

I'm pleased GD is enjoying her job always lovely to see them settled isn't it.

        Nanto
I only have two small narrow boarder,
The one at the bottom of the garden doesn't get much sun so I'm just filling that wish shade loving shrubs ,
The top boarder I have graveled and put pots on , mostly fuchsia's ,
I got sick of spending a fortune on bedding plants only to be eaten by the snails and tree spiders.
Fuchsia seem to be immune to them 😁
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, it is just a few hours a week for GD2, she still has her school!

I don't know if you know but we have wolves here and they are protected! I was reading the other day that a pony and some sheep have been attacked, only this morning a lady was out walking her dog and a wolf snatched the dog, it only let go when the lady went screaming after it, the dog is in a bad state of course. So many people are complaining, they are not in this area, as yet, but it is worrying.

Wolves are protected in the Netherlands under European law, primarily due to their status as a protected species under the European Union's Habitats Directive. This protection aims to conserve biodiversity and promote the natural return of wolves to areas where they were previously absent, like the Netherlands. The reintroduction of wolves, even with potential conflicts, is seen as beneficial for the ecosystem.

I had a good go with flow day Daisy.
Tidied upstairs, downstairs and in me lady's chamber.
Cleaned the fridge, ready for tomorrows Asda delivery and done the ironing.
Dinner was easy, thats over with now.

Nanto, well done, puts me to shame.

Oma, All this talk about sauerkraut makes me want to try it again. Good luck with the plants. Fushia is one of my favourite plants. Pleased to hear about B’s bloods.

Lizzie, I don’t think I would like Wolves nearby. We back onto woodland so we do get foxes.

That's scary, it's all well and good introducing them but when they are a danger you wonder what these people are thinking about .

A productive day for you even though it was a go with the flow day😁

Fuchsia's come in so many types and colour ways don't they, always a good show.

I wouldn't like any wolves near us.

                    Good evening!

Such a waste of appointment time Oma as you say. My OH had phone appointments for many years and we were glad.

Gosh Lizzie, no I didn't realise you had wolves there. As a child I was terrified of wolves, probably due to fairy tales. When my mum realised how frightened I was she assured me there were definitely no wolves in England and I felt better!

                    You were busy Nan2.

Daisy my opticians appointment is well overdue and I keep getting reminders!

It was good to have our regular Wednesday aquafit instructor back (she had a week off last week) The young girl who took us last week ran what I described as Aqua for 90 year olds. 90 years old who never done any exercise before at that!!

My friend and I had a nice lunch and long chat. She's sad and a bit worried about starting out alone again at 70, but accepts it wasn't working and is the only way for them both.

Good morning, there's a bit of fine drizzle this morning.

Gem,hope things go OK for your friend.

Lizzie, glad you are feeling better.

Asda delivery between 9 and 10.

I could do with making some chips for the freezer. Might even make some crumbles as well, now I've got some fruit other than rhubarb.

Easy dinner today, corned beef and onion, baked beans and mash pie. All in one aluminium dish. Cook it in the air fryer, job done.

                        Good morning ladies.

                        Nan2, I just fancy a crumble now!

                        Dull morning here.
Hospital appointment for OH this morning.
We have free day then, so may carry on into town.
OH's usual Thursday afternoon golf has been moved to Friday this week and DD3 has a day off with little E, so we don't have our usual Thursday events.

                          Morning Nanto, Ladies.

Nice easy meal Nanto and tasty.

It must be worrying for your friend but better be on your own than in a relationship that isn't working,
This time next year she will be in a better place I bet.

It's a nice fine morning here,
We off to Aldi then his mam's , she doesn't feel like shopping today so her grandson is taking her tomorrow.

                          It gives us a break.
We have a load of meals for her to put in the freezer and a lamb dinner for tonight.
See what mood she is in today ,
Gem our posts crossed, hope S's hospital visit goes well xxx

                            Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, what a lovely greeting - thank you. Is your pie topped with mash, or do you use a pastry topping as well? Do you use a special air fryer container or just anything that fits?

Gem, hopefully the weather will brighten up if you decide to go into town. I hope all goes well at the hospital. It must be hard for your friend splitting up, but as Oma says, better in the long run than sticking with a relationship that doesn't make her happy.

Oma, it's nice to have a break from doing MIL's shopping, but keeping her freezer stocked up with home-cooked meals is also hard work. I hope she enjoys her lamb dinner tonight.

It's nice and sunny here. I'm meeting up with my College friends for lunch today. It's the first trip out I've had without OH since I was diagnosed. I can see OH is a bit worried about letting me loose, but I feel fine and I've missed seeing my friends. We meet at a local golf club and if it stays like this the views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight will be beautiful.

                              It's a sunny day here now .

Oma, good for you two to have a break from MIL care.

Daisy,I hope you have a lovely lunch and catch up with your friends.

Back from the hospital with all sorts of information on OH's treatment plan, but not any dates yet. An awful lot to take in
I will update the YEO thread later
OH didn't feel like going into town so we are home. We may go out later though.

Daisy, enjoy your time out to meet a friend, I envy your view over the Solent.

Gemini, I hope the news from the specialist wasn’t too bad, a lot to take in no doubt.

Oma, your Mil is so lucky to have her freezer filled with home made meals, I hope she was grateful.

Nanto, we had drizzle this morning, no sunshine today. Omlette and veg for me today.
