        Good Tuesday morning everyone.

Nanto, what a pretty graphic. It was windy here as well last night, but pleasantly sunny this morning. Enjoy your easy day.

Gem, I hope the library was comfortably busy. It always sounds like a welcoming place but I know it wouldn't survive without dedicated volunteers like you. Your catsitter friend is very versatile, caring for dogs as well. Does she walk them? I'm sure she'll be looking forward to seeing you both tonight.

Oma, going to the tip! Such excitement. . Are you looking for anything specific in Dunelm?

We've had a relaxed start to the day. We're just trying to decide which local pub to go to for lunch - probably one in the next village where they do the best sausage and mash ever!

I wanted one of those tomato ketchup dispensers , you know the ones that look like a tomato 🍅
When we were out with Lucie and Josh they asked if she wanted sauce with her chips and they brought one out, she had never seen one before and loved it , she wanted one so we looked online and Dunelm had them in,
So we went and bought one this morning,
We are taking her and GS out for a meal on Friday I will give her it then all gift wrapped 🤣🤣

Enjoy your meal , bangers and mash with gravy yummy😋

Oma, i bet Lucie wil love it.
Many years ago,i had a dispenser for tomato ketchup and salad cream.
I stopped using them when squeezy bottles came out. Couldn't see the point of transferring it to another bottle.

We are going to visit GD1 later, to take our Tommie's birthday presents for tomorrow.

Oma, Lucie will be thrilled with her ketchup dispenser, and I think it's very thoughtful of you to get her one. We did enjoy our meal, and the bangers and mash were up to standard!

Nanto, how old will Tommie be? it doesn't seem 5 minutes since he was born, but I've lost track.

After feeling so washed out yesterday I woke up this morning feeling 100 per cent better - thank goodness - although I ate too much at lunch time! I still had enough energy to cut the lawn and trim the edges this afternoon. The grass isn't growing very much with all the dry weather but there were patches where it looked rather shaggy and untidy.

Daisy, Tommie, Finn and little E will all be 3 this summer I am so happy to hear you are better today!

Oma, I bet Lucie will love her gift.

I hope Tommie has a lovely birthday Nan2.

Well the evening didn't go quite as planned! W, our Catsitting friend turned up with the dog! I said he couldn't come in which she understood and neither could we go in the garden with him as our cats are free to go in and out and didn't want them scared (and neither did she) He is a terrier cross and they chase things.
So, in the end W and dog went away and we took all the food we were having for dinner round to our friends' house where she is dogsitting! We ate outside and he was fine. He did bark when we left, so maybe he's just been left and moved around so much he hates anyone leaving. Anyway, at least W got some company and food she didn't have to cook herself.

Good morning. Temperatures are rising from today according to the forecast.

Had a lovely visit yesterday to see GD1 and her family. Took Tommie's birthday presents for today.
Doesn't seem long since he was born, but he's 3 today.

A few little jobs for me to do.
Hubby hoping to get the wooden gate sprayed, if there isn't any wind.
The wrought iron gates have already been done.

                  Homemade ready meal for dinner.
Corned beef, sliced potatoes and onions. Might have Yorkshire pudding with it.

I'm surprised your friend brought the dog,
                    Yes terriers chase anything ,
But it all got sorted in the end 😁

                    Are you enjoying the tennis?
I read yesterday they are selling strawberry & Cream for £2.70 not bad for Wimbledon,
They estimate they sell 200.000 portions making approx £54.000 ,
They get them freshly picked and delivered every morning from a local farm.

We are going over to our shopping mall this morning for a few things I couldn't get when we had MIL there ,
Not a lot to do today,

                      Good morning ladies.

Very hot temperatures for the next few days I think Nan2.

Oma, it seems no time since we were all waiting for the three GRU babies to arrive in one way. In another I cannot imagine my life without little E!
I have no idea why W turned up with the dog. She should have phoned to explain. She can be very bizarre!

Aquafit for me this morning and sports massage this afternoon.
                      Tesco delivery later.

                      Keep cool everyone

I realise I didn't fully explain the reason for W bringing the dog last night! She claimed she couldn't leave the house without him barking and biting her ankles

She could have just phoned or messaged to explain though.

Good morning everyone, getting warmer again. I went out for a meal with the man that helped me with the car, a long story cut short, he is from a large family, all very close, one. brother is a cook, he was at the BBQ I was at on Monday evening as he cooks often for the "Dining together" on a Thursday, he cooks everything himself, a full 3 course meal, always plenty of bookings when he is cooking.! I was chatting to him then met my neighbour yesterday and asked if he ever went to the Dining together? He said no, but his brother has an industrial kitchen at another brothers house, also the huge barn place, every few weeks he does an open meal event for friends and family, one was last night so I went, the food was delicious, all home made etc, he only charges for the main ingredients, I felt almost guilty ! There were 20 of us, mostly the family but also friends. The brothers at where we were has a very good business and what a space! Pool, koi, lama's, etc etc, the biggest trampoline I have ever seen, he was showing me round, there was a pony, oh yes he said, granddaughter wanted a pony so I got her one! The meal was done really well, the younger daughters etc did the table etc etc.

Then, I got back here and the lift wasn't working, the same lady hit the doors again with her mobility scooter, I have just spent a full hour on the phone to the housing!! They can't do much about it, the lady should get in touch with her insurance, apparently that doesn't happen nowadays so it all gets put into our service costs!

Daisy, I am so pleased that you are feeling better.

Gem, what a carry on with the dog.

Nanto, enjoy the visit to Tommie, before you know it they will all be going to school!

                          Oma, Enjoy the shopping today.

GD1 has returned home, I haven't spoken to her yet, I went to the toilet at 4am and saw on my "find my iPhone" that she was back home.

I have decided not to do the circuit training in the warmer months, it is so warm in the hall we have to do it in, I have been to the fitness instead, I am going to drink coffee with the group at 11am though.

                            Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, just the day for a picnic in the sun, and relaxing with a good book. I hope hubby can get the gate painted - another job off the list. It really doesn't seem 3 years since our "Summer of Babies" and here they are, growing up far too quickly.

Oma, I hope you get your shopping done before it gets too warm.

Gem, I can understand you being worried about your cats being frightened by the dog, especially if he chases small furries. To be honest, I'd be a bit worried about him biting ankles as well. I know it's often in terrier blood, but it sounds as though he's stressed about being left alone. Barking when people arrive or leave is normal for some dogs, but he sounds confused and worried. At least you managed to share your meal with W in the end.

It's a beautiful sunny day, but likely to get quite hot later. DIL1 and a friend are coming down today. They're bringing lunch with them, so no cooking for me. It will be good to have a catch up.

Gosh it's hot isn't it , we have been in the loft trying to fix the spring on the hatch cover but we couldn't do it ,
B will have to order a new one, it's stifling in the loft , it's usually cold up there.

                                Oma, yes its certainly hot!

Lizzie, I think avoiding circuit training in the hot hall is a very good idea!

Daisy, how nice that DIL will be bringing lunch
We don't know if the dog woudl have tried to bite our ankles when we left as W had him firmly on the lead then! He barks at all dogs when she's walking him too. He's sweet and doesn't seem aggressive, probably just confused. He had fun in the garden last night with OH and me throwing a ball for him to chase.
