    Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, we'd welcome a few frogs and toads into our garden now we have a pond. I hope you can get the grass cut. It's growing so quickly at the moment.

Oma, you could write a book about your MIL. Well done to your SIL telling her to behave, but it must be wearing for you all when she has her awkward moods.

Gem, enjoy your aqua class and coffee. Hopefully you'll get a proper night's sleep tonight, but having an easy day today won't do any harm. xx

Plant, I hope you're feeling better today. xx

It's dull and none too warm here. No particular plans, but our hoover is feeling very neglected and needs a bit of activity, so it might be a day for me to transform into a domestic goddess. Not likely though!!

Oma, I see your Mil is back to her old self now she is home from hospital. I can’t imagine her being a caring mother. Young man has just finished cleaning my washing machine, oven and microwave. I booked it for 11am and he was phoning me at 8am on his way. Not very pleased to be woken up, not his fault, I let the ladies know in the office.

Gemini, S must be feeling more relaxed now she is home. When does she see the specialist? Jet lag sounds awful.

Daisy, I hope your GS’s are on the mend, Sod’s Law they would be poorly when your Dil was having a well deserved break. I would love to see a picture of your OH’s kit car. We had a large pond when we moved here and I think we must have had an entire population of frogs doing there courting in there.

Plant, hope you are feeling better.

Daisy, i did get the grass cut. There was a couple of spots of rain, and i mean a couple, but i carried on.
Just had a lovely shower to recharge my batteries.
Hubby has done some trimming of a climbing rose, its rampant, and tidied some othr bits up.
        He's in the shower now.

Oma, MIL back to her old self then.

Sky keeps turning black then the sun comes out again.

Crispy sliced potatoes for dinner with fish fingers and peas.
I won't have fish fingers,i seem to have gone off them.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Take it easy with the cleaning Daisy!

Plant, the hospital appointment is tomorrow morning.

Nan2 I was thinking of having a fish finger sandwich for lunch. I cant be bothered to wait though, so am off to make cheese on toast now

I enjoyed aqua and felt I was as energetic as I usually am
I had coffee with my friend then went to the petrol station . OH had done a lot of holiday washing this morning, even putting up a third line in the garden to dry them all!
We are expecting a raw cat food delivery today, but it doesn't need any prep like Eva's, we just bung it in a freezer drawer we keep free for that

Nanto, well done getting the lawn cut. we've had to take a few branches out of our rambling rose, as well as deadheading. It seems it's a good year for roses everywhere. The crispy sliced potatoes sound nice. Do you make them from scratch?

Gem, no worries about me overdoing the Domestic Goddess bit. I've done the cloakroom, including washing the tiles down, and OH has done the living room - a much bigger job. I'm doing a bit of sewing while OH makes us some lunch. I'm glad aqua went well, and I'm sure your friend was glad to see you back. It's good to see raw food for cats becoming more popular. Eva was kibble-fed when we got her and the difference after a couple of months on raw was remarkable. It only needs prep because it comes in 1 kg packets which is just over 4 meals for her, and I like to give her lots of variety. Portioning it up means I can give her something different every meal. I know lots of people who just feed one packet until it's gone, and it doesn't seem to do any harm, so I think I'm being over-fussy.

Plant, I'm sure people think everyone wakes up early. I hate getting calls before 9 am at the earliest, and if they actually wake me up it's even worse! Still I hope you're pleased with your nice clean appliances. Both GSs are feeling ok now, but thank you for asking. I'm sure they missed their Mum but their other Gran, who lives near by, made sure they had everything they needed.

              Daisy
              Roses are blooming this year,
Plants, wild rose is amazing it's right over her arch sadly she said it doesn't have a scent.

DD portions Storms up like you to give variety each meal.
Her cats won't eat raw Tallulah will have wet food but prefers dry, but Old Buzz is on a special food for his thyroid so can't eat raw.

              Plant
At least it's all done but not the way you wish to be woken is it.
Had the office put it down for a early call?

              Gem
              I enjoy a fish finger sandwich too😁
All the washing should dry it's very warm.

              Nanto
B just hoovered our garden and I cleaned all the paintworks outside,
Watch now we have done all that it will rain😁

We went to Tesco this morning,
When we parked in the under shelter car park , I went to get the trolley as B got his crutches and the shopping bags.
I put the coin in the trolly but couldn't get it out.

4 men were walking through clearly alcoholics you know the type cans in hand not had a wash for a while, no teeth staggering at 9. 30 in the morning etc,
Anyway one said hang on LV I will help , and he wrestled with it as they were all stuck together till he got it out for me.

We had a chat and what polite men they were,
One was in a wheelchair he only had one leg.
He said he had lost it as he fell Infront of a lorry drunk.

They were all laughing calling him names (choice language) then apologised for swearing .
But they were happy drunks and when they were leaving one said God bless you for talking to us , people usually cross the road when they see us,

They might of looked rough and the smell wasn't great but nice men all the same.

I must admit I did sanitizer the trolly handle well when they were out of sight ,
I didn't want to offend them.

We don't know what these peoples lives are like , we judge by what we see don't we and not what they are like .

When they went B said you attracted them all don't you 😁

Hallo everyone, I was on my way to take something down to the garage when I met my neighbour, carrying all her shopping up 5 flights of stairs! Yet another mobility scooter has banged the doors from the lift, it took 3 days the last time it happened so I am hoping it is quicker this time.

Oma, you can't judge a book by the cover, or so the saying goes!

Well done Daisy with getting some housework done.

I have had a hangover!! I had the most awful pain in my foot yesterday and took pain killers, I hardly ever take them so it takes a while to recover! I have arthritis in my foot, with special soles and good shoes I cope well, silly me yesterday I went to the next village on the wrong bike with the wrong shoes on, it was blowing a gale so I really had to use the pedals, I didn't realise until my foot started hurting yesterday afternoon what I had done. I couldn't walk, it was so painful, luckily when I woke this morning it was much easier so I have been taking it easy today

DS1 phoned, they arrived home at 9pm on Monday, they don't mind the travelling. Maybe I didn't when I was their age!

Nanto, you will be pleased with your gardening.

Plant, I am pleased you are feeling better.

I I thought I had mentioned this, but, looking back I don't think I have. The director of where I do the coffee lives in the next village, there are 4 locations which she visits daily, just last week she bought a new E bike, she was at the office on Monday, we can't leave our bikes near the office as the whole street has been dug up so we leave them, locked and chained, just opposite at the shopping centre. She went to get her bike at 1-30, it had gone!! It is so annoying, another lady reported hers stolen at the same time, just round the corner, complete with children's seats! I am not sure if the insurance will pay out, as, at the moment you must have an extra chain to attach the bike to the poles, these are a different make to the one on the cycle so you must have 4 keys to show the insurance, there is a way to get round that though, there is no proof it was chained up, you can still have the 2 extra keys, maybe that is just me thinking that. I do have an extra chain and use it as well.

Oma, I think - no, I know! - your DD and I spoil our dogs! You do meet interesting people, but you are quite right, a lot of us are very quick to judge others. It was kind of those men to help you free the trolley.

Lizzie, I wish they could find a solution to your lifts breaking like that. I'm sure people don't bang their mobility scooters into them on purpose, so does it happen when they're trying to reach the controls for the lift? Bike theft seems a big problem for you all. There are a lot of bike thefts in the UK but relatively fewer bikes, so it doesn't get the publicity. I hope the lady's insurance pays out.

Daisy, it is a new, modern lift with the controls low for the mobility scooters. Some of the people are very nervous with them though. The good news is, it has been repaired!

I'm glad it has been repaired Lizzie!

                        Good morning ladies.
Looking a bit overcast but it's warm.

Lizzie, glad the lift has been repaired.

Asda shopping coming between 9 and 10.

Hairdresser coming, but she'll be a bit later than usual, she's got an appointment with her accountant.

Mince and onions in the slow cooker. I'm making some cottage pies. One for dinner today with green beans and carrots. The rest of the pies will go in the freezer.

We will be thinking of both of you today, hope the appointment helps S feel calmer and the treatment plan is put in place so she can get on with it xxx

We off to MILs this morning, see how much she moans today ,

Our water was off from about 6 last night they sent texts every hour to let us know how they were getting on with repairs ,
It came back on about 5 this morning and we were told if the water is discoloured to run the tap for 40 minutes but apart from the pressure is a bit dodgy it's ok.

OH's appointment is at 10.30. We will get the bus there and back. We will have little E this afternoon and this evening we are invited to our friends G and A for tea.
Tesco delivery this afternoon and the raw cat food, which I thought was coming yesterday
